I did not want to be a part of the parenting in bulk community. I was happy with 1, my partner wanted 2 and I thought it wouldnt be that different. We had twins - so now we have 3.
Can people tell me their happy 3 kids stories? Sometimes I find myself wondering how I got here.
Help me. I bought these chairs at auction site unseen and they are way too big for the table and space. But also they are low. What kind of table can I get to go with them in this space? I dont live in the US so im just looking for any advice as ive told my partner ill solve it but I dont know what to do.
I have 6 month old g/b twins. My girl is a straight chiller, I mean shes a normal baby so she also likes to be held and fed and played with. But she will entertain herself on the mat rolling around or in her bouncer.

My son on the other hand, hes constantly emitting a whine. Its like he whines when he is happy but also when he is bored and to me, it feels like he gets bored of every activity within 5 minutes. Bouncer, mat time, pram walk, jolly jumper, high chair etc - 5 mins in hes complaining. I cant constantly move him around and I cant constantly hold him. We cant even go for a walk he gets sick of that so fast and wont nap in the pram. What's a mum to do? His sister is also starting to give him a side eye like - shut up man.

He can be such a happy boy but sometimes hes so hard.
We have a 3.5 year old girl and 6 month old g/b twins.
If you have a similar setup and had 3 bedrooms who roomed with who? Twins together or same sex together?
Currently my 2 girls are the better sleepers so would probably lean towards having them share, but wondered what others have done or how you made the decision.
I had a singleton first, it was so easy to read to her. One baby, in the chair, read a few books then lights out.
Twins are nearly 6 months old but I cant hold them both and read a book. We dont usually put them to bed together at the same time, if im putting one to bed then my other twin and toddler are awake and I cant take my time to read stories. Then I cant read to the other one beause ones asleep in the room.
What am I missing here? I feel bad at how little I have read to them compared to my singleton.
Had a rough 6 months. Twins born and FIL got cancer and then died 2 weeks ago.
We have had this weekend as a child free weekend away booked in for ages (supposed to be the first). Due to FIL death we have had to take the twins as our childcare is gone. Not quite the same but trying to make the most of it.
Have concert tickets tonight and a babysitter booked. We are here with another couple. Im so tired I just want to stay here and sleep while the babysitter takes the twins. I know my partner needs this though after his dad's death.
So hard all around and I wish we had been able to enjoy their babyhood more.
