Getting my first mopar tomorrow!!!

She's gonna be my little project car!! We're gonna give here a nice catback, podfilter, coilpacks, long tubes, x pipe, catch can, & a supercharger. As well as a coolant flush, trans service, gear oil, oil change, tires + alignment, spark plugs, & brake fluid just to keep her for another 150k miles

Just starting out, what do i do?

Just got my first tuner for my 10th gen civic ex thatvi want to learn to tune off of (unfortunately its my only car so im afraid to grenade the motor and i also dont have K motor money right now). I finished my bolt ons for now and flashed the base map that came with the tuner. Its fun but I've been told that the base maps are only a little bit better then stock so i should make my own. But I've also been told that i have to learn to move the operating range of my transmission because my engine could put out a decent amount of power but my transmission is bottlenecking it because its an automatic so i have to change the way the trans works (or something like that). And also the graph with load and rpm is intimidating because i don't know what the numbers mean or why some numbers are negative and some are positive and all these other settings like flex fuel or ignition timing i kust don't even know where to begin with it all, and i really don't like that the only information i can find is locked behind a $700 paywall. Where do i start & where can i find information???
