I'll start gming age of ashes soon.

Now while preparing I stumbled over the first encounter.

&gt;!Snickers in the Smoke is a moderate 1 encounter including a creature lvl1 and a complex hazard (the fire) lvl1. At the end of the encounter it says 'For each Spectator saved, award the party 5xp (to a maximum of 100xp). If the party douses the fire entirely, award them an additional 30xp'. Does that mean, that this encounter should give 80 (just survived without anything else) up to 210 (survived, saved everyone, doused fire) xp? 210 seems like an awful lot for just one encounter.!<

I'd like help with a build for a Trickster Swordsaint.

What is have so far is that I want to play a Str Swordsaint, using a Scimitar while trying to use a combination of the improved improved critical line together with the mobility trick, running through the enemies and aao them to death.

Right now I think of playing a human for the extra feat, would that be a good idea? Or is another race way better?

As a background I'm pondering the idea to use the Acolythe background to use wis for persuasion so that I can dump Charisma. Or is another background way better?

Are there any feats I should avoid or that are so good they are non-negotiable?

Any other tips would also be greatly appreciated.
