So I (M26) started talking to this coworker of mine (F21) and we really vibed with each other. I ended up asking her out to dinner, so we planned a date. We were supposed to go this last Tuesday, and the day before I messaged her asking if we were still on. She ended up saying she got the days mixed up and that her and her family were going to go watch Mexico play and she thought it was Monday but it was actually Tuesday, the day of our date. She apologized and asked if maybe I would want to grab some coffee or something before. In the moment I was kind of annoyed so I said I’d be busy and that she could let me know when she’s free in the future and we could plan something. She hearted the message and I haven’t heard from her since. Do I just leave it at that or do I keep pursuing. I can see it being a simple mixup, but I feel like if she really wanted to do something she would have asked me already.

(M 26) I can’t tell if I’m hideously ugly, good looking, walk weird, or I’m going crazy. Every time I’m in public, like walking down the street, walk into a store/coffee shop, people look up from what they’re doing and like eye me down. Yesterday me and my sister went to a store on this nice street, and when we were in the store this group of women were shopping around and they kept looking at me, then when I had my back turned I looked back slightly and I locked eyes with one of them. Then when we were walking down the sidewalk people would literally walk by us then look back at us. I know this is a common phenomenon we all experience but I feel like in my case it’s excessive.
