My boyfriend/husband told me he prefers me "natural" today. Guys, I was wearing $120 worth of "no-makeup makeup"

I spent 45 minutes doing a flawless skin tint, subtle concealer, tightlining, and a nude lip for brunch. We get in the car, he looks at me and says, "See? You look so much prettier when you don't paste all that junk on your face" I almost drove us into a ditch. Why do they think natural means we just woke up looking like a Victoria's Secret model?

I need a real talk about foundation.

Mine keeps settling into my pores and fine lines instead of smoothing things over — it's actually emphasizing texture rather than hiding it. The worst spots are around my nose, my smile lines, and under my eyes. Looking for tips — product recommendations, application techniques, setting tricks, ANYTHING.
