Krishna had the chance to clear all the things up and start fresh but he just ruined it. I disliked him so much in last episode. He is such a manipulator. He could have told her the truth and stop with his lies ..but what did he do? Put the whole blame on Sangam when he was the one who wanted to marry her. He gaslighted her into believing that all of it was her fault. Not done ! I hope makers expose his lies super soon.. and give us his redemption..I can't root for him for now.

So i have anxiety

About three days ago, I developed pain in my left shoulder and left underarm. The pain lasted for a few days, and during that time I also felt a slight sense of weakness. I applied a pain relief gel to the affected area, and the shoulder and underarm pain gradually improved and is now much better.

Today, I noticed a new symptom—a very mild burning sensation at the tip of my left index finger. The burning is limited to the fingertip and is not severe. I have not noticed any numbness, tingling, loss of movement, swelling, or discoloration along with it.

These symptoms occurred over the last three days, with the shoulder and underarm pain appearing first and the fingertip burning sensation starting today.

Can we appreciate Ramneet for the last two episodes? It's genuinely hard to believe this is her first show. She absolutely nailed every emotional scene.

My favourites were the hug scene and the moment she finally burst out at CHOMU VICKY. The emotions felt so raw and real.

Also, her voice deserves appreciation. It's so good 😭💗 I am addicted.

Okay, this is a long post, but hear me out.

When I first saw the promos, I thought, "Oh great, another 'one girl fixes five men and their broken house' storyline." ahh shit But I was pleasantly surprised.

Yes, the house is a mess. But are the men?

Three of the brothers are employed, the youngest is a college student, and then there's the father... let's just say he's a different case altogether. But it completely changed my expectations.

Can we first appreciate the symbolism in the names? The brothers are Ganga, Krishna, Satluj, and Mahi, and the woman Krishna marries is Sangam. That's such a beautiful metaphor. Rivers meet at a sangam, and this family slowly finds emotional balance after Sangam enters their lives. Whether intentional or not, I absolutely loved that detail.

Now coming to Ganga.

He's basically manages the house. He wakes up early, makes tea, cooks, cleans, manages the household, and takes care of everyone That small scene where Sangam wakes up and Ganga has already made tea for her says so much more than a hundred loud feminist speeches.

And not only him, all his brothers do their share of work.

Everyone was helping Sangam.

The writers don't preach feminism. They simply normalize equality.

Sangam marries Krishna because she refuses to marry the walking embodiment of patriarchy her father chose for her—a man who literally tells her she'll stay home all day and that he expects a baby within a year. The one who questions her dressing. That conversation alone tells you everything about what kind of life she escaped.

Because of circumstances, she ends up marrying Krishna, thinking it's only a temporary arrangement. Everyone—including the people in the mohalla—assumes she's entered hell because she's now living in a poor house with five men. The society also thinks the 4 brothers father has killed his wife, but I know their is something backstory to it and it also shows how society is so judgy. So they think the girl has entered hell.

But has she?

The house may not have money. It may need repairs. But the people inside treat her with dignity, kindness, and respect—something many wealthy, "respectable" families fail to do.

That's the irony the show captures so well.

Society judges a home by its walls. The show judges it by its values.

And I genuinely feel these brothers will support Sangam's education and ambitions instead of clipping her wings. I wouldn't be surprised if, by the end, Sangam helps renovate the house— because she wants to work on '' affordable housing scheme'' and study architecture in the future. Isn't the whole concept so beautiful.

That's the difference.

Feminism is about choice, dignity, and equality.

If Sangam helps financially, that's great.

If she helps with household work too, i don't mind.

The problem is never household work.

The problem begins when it's assumed that only women are responsible for it while men sit and watch.

In this house, everyone contributes in their own way.

And that's refreshing to watch.

This is also why I get frustrated with many ITV shows.

I'm not saying they shouldn't show misogyny, toxic families, or patriarchal behaviour. They absolutely should, because those things exist.

My problem is how they show it.

Too often, the heroine is insulted, humiliated, character assassinated time and again horribly. And no character questions it or acknowledge it and they don't even realise it it's happening because yeah it has happened all the time. That's how they normalise it ..thiss! they silently pass the patriarchy .

A woman goes back to win her love ...wins back the man who mistreated her , cheated her and it's normalised. That's how you silently pass the patriarchy.

A woman is constantly insulted, blamed and manhandled by her husband and she goes back to him , showing no self respect of her. That how you silently pass the patriarchy.

The audience is conditioned to see this as romance or normal married life.

That's how patriarchy quietly survives—not through one big speech, but through hundreds of tiny moments that go unquestioned.

The same goes for stories where career-driven women suddenly abandon all their dreams to solve endless family drama and kitchen politics, and the narrative presents it as the ideal life without ever asking what she wanted. That's how they silently pass the patriarchy.

These little narrative choices matter because television reaches millions of homes every day.

Small actions normalise it.

Stories shape what people consider acceptable.

and i BLAME the audience who continues to watch such shit. you are normalising it too. passing it in the name of ' it's just for plot' yeah its not. and if they understand it's silently passing those stereotypes and continues to watch in the name of romance. yeah idk what to say pls 🙏🏻

That's why I appreciate Bareilly Ke Bachchan so much.

It's a comedy, but underneath the humour, it's making quiet statements about gender roles, masculinity, family, and respect. It shows men cooking without making them less masculine. It shows kindness without glorifying sacrifice. It challenges stereotypes without turning every episode into a lecture.

That's good writing.

I really hope the writers continue in this direction because it's rare to see an ITV show where equality is shown through everyday actions instead of dramatic monologues.

Sometimes the most feminist scene isn't a powerful speech. It's just this small scenes.

Sometimes it's just an elder brother making tea for the new bride because that's simply what families do.

Call me bias. But i just love this show💗

The plot is good. But can we talk about the direction, the editing,the dialogues and the way they speak ,the clothes, the makeup of the FL and her stunning outfits, the visuals and moreover , the background song choices. It's so peak right now. I love background songs so much !! 😭🤌🏻

Hey guys , I am new here. I love how this show got a seperate sub cause it deserves one. I am loving the show. It's so entertaining ✌🏻 my favourite is Satluj, Ganga and Krishna wait I think I cant decide. Everyone is Loveable except sangams family. Also i love how we will get 3 love stories of the 3 bros.. Krishna , Satluj and Ganga!! Actually we can see a college love story of Mahi too. 🤣

p s. anyone noticed how all the 4 bros are named on indian Rivers. krishna, satluj, ganga, mahi..haha loved it

I am seriously fed up with ITV. Every new show starts with such a promising concept—a male or female lead chasing their dreams, studying hard, building a career, and overcoming real struggles. That's what gets us invested.

But after a few months, the original plot is completely forgotten. Suddenly it's all about endless family drama, saas-bahu politics, forced marriages, unnecessary misunderstandings, or the love story taking over everything. The career, ambitions, and personal growth that were advertised become nothing more than a side plot.I leave the show as soon as I found it going Downhil front the Og plot .. it's so foolish to continue those.

Why market a show around dreams and aspirations if you're eventually going to turn it into the same repetitive formula? Viewers deserve stories that stay true to their original premise instead of sacrificing it for endless melodrama and TRPs.( Which don't even come hahah) It's frustrating to see so much potential wasted every single time, and I am not falling for this..

I am giving you some examples for context ,.two colour shows started last year promised the same. Tu Juliet and Seher hone ko hai. Tu juliet jatt di, though it was a career + love story turned out to be nothing but a typical love story with Saas bahu and family drama. i left it a long ago recently came to know that nothing has been showed about their career since. And they are just 20-21 years old. Second is Seher where though the lead is shown to be a Doctor after a leap to turn the pedo love story into adult yeah but now it will be completely love story. They even killed her mom.

My point is not love stories, even I enjoy live stories which are well written and presented but why to fool people on the name of career oriented shows bahaha.

if you want to do career + love simultaneously learn it from shows like balika vadhu and diya aur baati hum where social messages and love both were executed well.

The whole phase should be wholesome or angsty and not toxic.

What actually makes a female lead "strong"? This question came to mind while discussing things about Tu Juliet Jatt Di, the colors show but I'm asking it in a general sense for all shows.

I recently saw a discussion where someone called Heer a weak female lead. Another person replied and they disagreed and said she's strong because she's enduring constant abuse, threats, and violence from her father, ( and other people) while dealing with major struggles in her life. and NO ONE actually corrected her or called her out. I was actually shocked.

That got me thinking: does enduring abuse automatically make a character strong? If we imagine the exact same situation, but the abuse was coming from a husband or fiancé instead of a father, many viewers would probably call that character a doormat rather than a strong female lead. For example, characters like Neelu, ( Heer's mom)who continue to endure abuse from their husband,are often viewed that way.

Another thing I've noticed is that when a female lead is selfish, repeatedly hides important things from her partner,contradicts her statements, or makes questionable decisions, BE MAHAAN for others, some viewers justify all of it by pointing to her trauma and difficult past. While trauma can explain a character's behavior, does it automatically excuse it?( is this pseudo feminism ? or ITV's attempt to show FL irritating and mahaan and sacrificing).

So what is the difference? Why is enduring abuse from one person seen as strength, while enduring it from another is often seen as weakness?

in your opinion, what truly makes a female lead strong? Is it her ability to endure abuse, threats, trauma, and difficult circumstances while dealing with her life struggles and emotions?

Or is it standing up against abuse, setting boundaries, communicating honestly, being clear with the people she loves, making her own choices, healing from trauma, and finding smart ways to deal with her situation?

Can a character be considered strong if she repeatedly avoids communication, hides things from, or hurts someone she loves? Or is it something else entirely? I'm genuinely curious about how people define a "strong female lead" because I think the term gets used very differently by different viewers.

Also this bring to my notice once AGAIN, how much we need strong female leads in ITV, some is being a doormat to her husband / fiance /father/ in laws? The thing is same. We actually need to show female leads actually fighting for them and their people because we can't justify it or give it a pass. I don't even remember last time I saw a strong female character in itv .. heer was one for me, but it's a gone case where she was for a brief time. Recently loved Aadhya in Do duniya ek dil. A baddie.

High time we need to see some real strong feminist character in the itv and not mahaan pseudo feminism who contradicts her own words, or doormat who's good for nothing.

Is there any itv show which has shown anyone experiencing an anxiety or panick attack? I want to see such particular scene ..could be any show. where its shown realistically and not exaggerated.

My left shoulder and arm has been hurting since last night. I could not sleep last night and was also feeling breathlessness. In the morning, I applied a tube to my shoulder and arm and it has lighten the pain but not gone completely. and my underarm part hurts badly. My chest feels like acidity kind of heavy but it doesn't hurt. I am breathing kinda okay now. For context, I am 19. My parents said it's just muscle strain and acidity but i am worried and anxious. I am having a heart attack??. The pain started around 12-1 at night and it's 12:00 a.m. right now.
