14.32% of my living expenses would be covered by June 2026 dividends

After a long time, it's actually above 10%. My living costs were 2758 EUR for June 2026, and I think I can go even lower. I'm planning some investments around the house, but probably not in the following few months. So it's a good time to build reserves before that.

My dividends were 395 EUR, but mostly from the annual payer XTB.WA. I'm 36 years old, my market loss in June was -6.28% (it's fine, it was +12% in May).

To disclose my portfolios, here are my positions:

Dividends would pay 6.07% of my living expences for May 2026, 36 old Male in Europe

I'm updating again on my dividends portfolio. Dividends for the May 2026 would be at $192, which would cover 6% of my living costs for the month. Majority of the dividends would be from XTB.WA.

My living costs for the month May were at 3164 EUR, hopefully above average for the following 12 months. I stopped focusing on dividends in 2023, breaking a few years of nice dividend income trajectory.

I invested more in growth portfolio of mine, and market gains in May were phenomenal. In dividend portfolio, they were +2.58% ($2 345) and +17.22% ($36 265) in growth portfolio.

What % of living costs would be covered by dividends for you in May 2026?

I've been investing for 10 years, so it's not a lot. But I have good reasons for it:

  1. for past few years, I am investing more in growth stock and selling dividend stocks

  2. my expenses in April included tax for the year 2025, you might argue I shouldn't include this in my monthly expenses, but I have expense like this every month recently

I should be done with big investments around the house for a few months now, so hopefully that % number will increase soon.

The biggest dividends I received were from EOAN.DE (€75.54) and IIPR ($130.82).

Market gain in dividend portfolio in April was 7.79%($6,928) and in growth portfolio it was 4.37% ($8,822)

How about you, how many % of your living expenses would be covered by dividend income?
