I’m trying to remember WHY I know this story that randomly popped into my mind. I think the story was told in a tiktok video from 2023 or 2024. I’m pretty sure the video was a woman recounting an experience from her childhood, where her parents had different custody and she only spent a few weeks a year with her father (or something like that), and she was saying how she was excited to see him at his apartment.

She went to his place and things were going well but then she accidentally broke a lego set that had been on display — or maybe they were building a lego set together and she broke it? — and he completely freaked out and gave her the silent treatment for days, basically treating her like she had done this on purpose instead of having a normal reaction to a child making a mistake in this scenario. I think he might’ve been remarried or had a girlfriend but she wasn’t able to get through to him on this.

That’s pretty much all I can remember. I tried searching tiktok and reddit but didn’t come up with anything. It’s bugging me because I remember the story so well but I have no idea who it happened to or why I know it.

Was with ex for 3 years. Breakup in 2024.

Never met his new gf but we share a mutual friend. She told this mutual friend “does she know he was cheating on her?” and encouraged friend to share this with me

Truly baffling that she wanted me to know this and yet stays with him. It’s been like a year since this happened and I’m still perplexed

Hi everyone!!

I was a bit of a hoarder when I was a kid, and I lived near an AG store, so I saved a TON of catalogs (multiple copies per issue, lol) and I just found them. I’m trying to downsize, so I wanted to ask — what’s the meta among collectors about these? Is it something people collect or no?

Like I remember seeing people selling AG catalogs on eBay when I was younger, does that still happen?

I also have a scanner and would be happy to scan some, but it seems like some have already been digitized, so I’m just putting out feelers on if this should be a project at all or if I should just recycle them.

I’m also open to selling them as a lot, but again not sure if that’s realistic.

Friend works as a Licensed Massage Therapist. Boss reprimanded her privately for disclosing to a coworker that some employees make $2 extra on weekend shifts. Friend explained that this was offered to certain people as an incentive to get them to come in on the weekend.

Her boss pulled her aside later and said "we all make mistakes, but you know you shouldn't have discussed that."

It's illegal to tell workers not to discuss their pay, isn't it? Does she have recourse here? Any advice for how she should proceed?

EDIT TO ADD: My friend is one of the people who was offered the extra 2 dollars, she disclosed this information about her own pay to a coworker
