I'm going to confess...but I don't know when

I've been crushing on this girl for a while now (over a year). She's so perfect, she's funny, kind, gorgeous. She likes a lot of the same stuff as me, but not all of the same stuff (enough so it's interesting). Every time we hang I have an absolute blast. The issue is that we're both really busy.

Like, we'll try to organise a meetup but at least one of us is almost always busy. We can go several months without seeing each other, but it's all worth it when we do.

I really want to ask her out in person, but I just don't know when that will be. We're going to try to organise a meetup in July, but we don't know when yet.

I'm also concerned about what happens if she says yes. What if she gets upset that I never spend any time with her? I don't want her to think I don't care, but I'm almost always in work, university, or have some other commitments going on.

Also, idk if I used to right tag, so apologies for that

Where would you take someone who's never been to a theme park?

Let's say you have a friend who's never been to a theme park. What theme park would you take them to and why?

Personally I think Efteling is the best bet, and i would structure the day as follows.

  1. Fata Morgana (great ride, pretty close to the entrance)

  2. Max and Moritz (near Fata Morgana, tame rollercoasters, great as an introductory coaster)

  3. Symbolica (phenomenal ride)

After that, I'd probably take them to Droomvlucht and Villa Volta, before heading to the main coasters in the following order. Vogel Rok, Der Vliegende Hollander, Joris en de Draag, Baron 1898, Python.

But Efteling has another big advantage. If the person really isn't enjoying the rides (shame on them!), Efteling has its fairy tale forest which provides at least a day's worth of entertainment, meaning it will not have been a wasted day.

I think this park has a really good range of rides, and has a really high quality, so it has a good chance of hooking the person into the hobby.

I'm curious to know what others would do.

I feel like it's missing something.

I'm not exactly sure on the title yet. Probably something along the lines of "Avatar is a realistic deduction of nature"

The video is an in-depth video essay comparing the portrayal of nature in Avatar and March of the Penguins
