Work part time stocking dairy at a grocery store, this is my lunch for today.
Actually really good, not sure how filling it will be though.

Just wondering what people get paid as dishwashers.
There is a giant blob of ice in the bottom of the ice cooler at the gas station I work at. So, I decided to make it smaller, the only tool I had to do it with was my SOG power assist.
I made a bunch of black eyed peas yesterday, lightly fried a couple of corn tortillas, put a piece of cheap processed cheese, a spoonful of the peas on one and put the other on top and chow down. Better with a little bit of hot sauce but plenty edible without. Made three of them for under a dollar.
I'm looking for something that I can keep in my tackle bag or in my truck for after work fishing. I've caught a lot of fish on Gulp products (Sea trout, snook, Lady fish, stripers, spotted bass and bluegill) but I haven't tried these specifically for catfish. I keep worms in my fridge and frozen baits in my freezer and typically keep live bait in a tank in my yard, but I'm just looking for something that might work for spur of the moment fishing when I'm not necessarily going to be home first and don't want to take the time to stop by the store.
I'm going to be going to Santee in a few weeks with my fiance and another couple. Going to do a weekend of fishing, mostly for catfish, just want to get the ladies on some decent sized fish and maybe get enough for a fish fry when we get home. I have a freezer full of frozen perch, herring, chicken, and some deer from 2024. Planning on having some live or at least fresh white perch and herring as well. Anyone got any tips as far as baits go? Any dip baits or punch baits that y'all recommend?
I'm a fishing guide in Georgia. Today we tried to catch perch, bass, crappie, and stripers and after 5 hours we had 11 fish but we caught a couple of cats on our bass setups so I made the executive decision to fish for cats for the rest of the day. So, I cut up some herring, threw them out and we quit fishing an hour later with a total of 20 fish (18 fish kept). I like fishing for catfish, but typically don't do it with clients unless they specifically want to fish for them, but today we did what we needed to do to put the most fish as possible in the cooler.
I know that fresh bait is superior, and I have a good supply pretty consistently but I still like keeping some in the freezer just in case I need it. I want to experiment with frozen baits and right now I've got white perch in my freezer (my preferred bait fresh and alive). I have about a dozen that I just threw in a gallon bag and froze. I also have 10 that I filleted (20 fillets) and threw in a bag with plenty of salt and the backbones from the carcasses. I was wondering if anyone here had any tips or ideas, I also thought about soaking them in something like pautzke catfish nectar or even just straight blood before freezing or while in the freezer. Mostly targeting blues but happy with everything. I'm curious if y'all catch more channels on frozen, or catch less of everything, or just experiences in general with frozen baits vs fresh baits.
