i bought these Monsters U Pnk sorority dolls as a treat for my bday!

i really shouldn't have bc i need to save for a con but when these two beauties popped up on ebay for a sweetheart of a deal i had to snatch em up! '''=u=
They're in amazing condition-- their hair is untouched and their fluffy cloths are still super soft! im in love!!

i just wanted to show them off since their pretty unique with gorgeous sculpting for the bodies and faces!

also bc the 21 y/o me that hyperfocused on Monsters U is absolutely loosing her mind that she finally got ahold of not one but BOTH colors! (☆3☆)

We got a Problem my dudes...

So ive been into RH for like 9 months now but ive exclusive interacted as a customize. i'd buy half naked dolls second hand and turn them in my silly little head blorbos. i dont really care about the dolls as characters or buying for collecting sake.

Anyway I recently bought a Pinky from ebay to sacrifice to make an object head doll. She came, i took her out of the box, dared to play with her hair a bit, and then i made my fatal mistake: i decided to try to put together an outfit from the few bits of clothing id amassed.

turns out 9-yo me was on to something.

i think she looks pretty cool! ( •° 0 °• )
i'm defs gonna need new body double for the object head project now because there's no way i could tear apart such a fire fit!

guys ive fallen in to a deep hole here and idk if my wallet will make it out in tact... (๑T‸T๑)

With RH ending should i expect the prices of the dolls to go up?

Basically are doll prices about to inflate or de we have a few years bf they become vintage AND expensive??

i am customizer who's like <2 years into the doll scene so im not quite sure if i should expect prices on ebay and other auction sites to fluctuate with the ending of the series.

i have two projects in the planning stage that i would prefer using RH/SH bodies for but i i wanna know if i should snatch them up or grab a bunch of cute cloths while they're still cheap?

Furbert's new Party Harness

i swiped this lil guy off shopgoodwill like a week before all the snipers roosted. (꒦ິ⌓꒦ີ)
But since i bought him so randomly i didn't have a personality or project in mind for him like i normally do when buying furbies.
Anyway he sat on my desk for like 3 months before i was Blessed with a Vision.

Meet Furburt the Party Pope! i christened him this this morning as i finished his Party Harness and i'm going to spend the rest of the weekend sewing him the finest mitre out of black faux leather and metalic gold fabric!

He also enjoys making messes and arts and crafts!!

What have i gotten myself into?? 😅

Hello all!

So i was planning n doing my second and third reroots with this .5 mm curl. And i was pretty confident because my first reroot(with straight hair) was pretty successful.

i got my package this afternoon, and excitedly opened it to find a Mongolian Hair Worm! i dont even know where to start???

(i do know i ordered like 3 times as much as i needed bc both dolls are going to have chin length hair. >x<""" )

How to i get it out and handle it in a way that dosen't absolutely ruin the curls?Also while i m here does anybody have any tips for the styling and care of the curls?

tips tricks and tutorials would be forever appreciated!

Hello! i just got into doll customs little over a year ago after 6 fun months of frankenstening the heck out of the buggers i've amassed quite a collection of parts. I totally plan to use them one day but ive been just kinda shoving them into plastic ziplock in the mean time. =.='''

Well, the bag is full and i can not longer find anything in it. It's time to move onto something bigger that's NOT a plastic tote bc my rooms tiny.

What would be perfect is one of those doll trunks from the the the 20th century. You know the cheap plastic & cardboard ones with the really pretty doll art? the problem is that no one make them any more and the originals have deteriorated like wow.

So what do YOU guys use?
