a quick sketch from my segment sona's outfit! what's your thoughts?

i tried to put the mask on his bicep into use, too; he looks like a hilichurl helpjqkqk but it could be a fighting/performane outfit maybe?

you may read about Segment 69 in my previous posts;

( he's still under improvement, so i'm still experimenting )

here's a draft outfit design for my segment sona if you remember him, what do you think? + lore drop

there's some extra doodles for his mask since i was trying to experiment and see what suits him

i also applied the pleage mask on his bicep since one of you guys suggested that, but i mixed it with Scp 049's design (if you don't know him just search him up he's so dottore coded)

also, i came up with a backstory for my segment sona, i'll drop his lore down here:

ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤ

Segment 69

subjective purpose: exploring and discovering artistic potentials. creating visual documentaries from laboratory operations and test subjects. aiming for the perfect material, meaning that he would try absolutely anything to create a new material and canvas; he has a record of using test subjects' bones or flesh to create a final piece that would represent artistic point of views in life or merge science and art together.

lore: created by dottore to experience art on behalf of him, but rejected by other segments because art wasn't "scientific enough" for them to be acknowledged, thus claiming segment 69 as an irrelevant existance.

after discovering the documentation on his own creation as a test segment, being called something less than an individual by dottore itself, he abandons the lab to explore the outer world as an artist to find and builds up his own identity.

he is expected to meet people who will shape his character more and support his sense of identity. he is yet under development, so stay tuned for further updates!

( i would appreciate suggestions or any hc that you think would suit my segment )

i've been trying to get comms but i just can't seem to get any

well i didn't plan on writing about this but eventually i felt drawn to it cuz i have no idea if anyone else is going through this or not

i live in a third-world country, i can't use vgen or ko-fi or patreon like other artists and the only places i can use are places like reddit or twitter or other socials; unfortunately there was a lot of obstacles thrown into my way but i didn't pull back as an artist. i tried my best and reached a point where i was finally able to get commissions and that was a dream come true at some point,

but then, ofcourse to be a successful and known artist with a lot of costumers not only me but anyone needs to be patient and ofcourse it's only normal that commissions come in tides, sometimes there's plenty of commissions and some other times there's barely anyone so i've been trying to fix that by growing more on social media but my twitter page is down, no more reposts or likes or engagements even tho i try to support others as much as i can deviantart forums are also hopeless for me since there's barely two or three new forums posted by the people looking for artists i tried reddit and even tho i've started to like it a lot here since the communities here are so supportive and responsive, i still can't get comms from here either

but still, there are times that i don't know what to do anymore cuz the path is taking so long to reach somewhere sometimes and reaching a +1000$ income also seems idk, just another impossible dream

what are the similar challenges that you're currently facing? do you have any tips for me? is it too much to aim for a +1000$ monthly as an artist? if you also struggled with getting any commissions, what was your solution?

detailed tos including client and artist rights, queue/waitlist, more artworks and links to my social accs are available at: https://lunemarille.carrd.co/ (mostly active on twitter and discord; you may check my waitlist and availability, and if you've commissioned me you may check your commission's whereabouts through this link anytime)

Assisting in Coloring/Rendering!

hello! moon is here; here's some of my full-render/base-color arts and previous commissions. (these are sfw, but there's no limitations for nsfw works)

i could draw too but i'm also interested in coloring pages and long-term partnership; you may dm me in here or discord with your budget or references if you like so we can better navigate through the pricing stage per page/panel; i'm flexible with pricing, and the payment method is also via stripe and preferably upfront

my detailed tos, queue/waitlist, more artworks and social links are stated here: https://lunemarille.carrd.co/ (i'm mostly active in twitter and discord)

shall also note that i will not share any of your commissions without your permission, and if you give me the right to include them in my portfolio i will put them there with crediting the artist ( i will only claim to be the colorist ofcourse )

if you're ever interested in working together, i'll be honored to negotiate things further in dms! feel free to ask me as much as you need so we can have a good partnership <3

someone told me that once the ai limits and the people's hatred from ai is gone, people who draw will lose their jobs ( including me )

honestly, my defense mechanism went up cuz i have heard someone say such thing last year they said you can't get commissions and i did, they also said your art will turn into a worthless thing once ai art takes over so you should learn how to work with ai and guys.. i swear... these were HUGE RAGE BAITS :/ up until this time that this person literally spent half an hour to CONVINCE ME THAT I WILL BECOME A JOBLESS PERSON IN 50 YEARS AND I SHOULD PACK UP FOR MY LIFE i think i can't anymore- guys I FELL INTO THE BAIT. HELP.

i even argued that even then, there would still be people who would pay for human-made art they were like "yeah, they'd pay people like picasso who have made history or their name is big" it seriously ticks me off. i'm an artist, and i would love to commission other artists too not just because of supporting them but because i genuinely love their artstyle and work i respect my commissioners and love to do work for them because each oc tells someone's REAL STORY and reflects someone's dream world! and an artist's art style is just the same, it tells a REAL STORY of someone spending time and experiencing their part of the story to reach a specific art style that's what makes it special and makes me want to commission a real artist and i think ai would lack this part cuz every ai art we see on the internet has been fed with REAL PEOPLE'S ART STYLES!

what are your thoughts on this?
