Something I noticed ( s1E1-6)

>! In Season 1 , Episode 1 Max's girlfriend is on the phone with Max who is trying to convince her to commit suicide. The girlfriend is not alone. There is someone there with her guiding her, helping her. Who do you think the person was? Do you think that was Nevaeh?

Zach plays games online with his friends. He barely hangout. He had a girlfriend but she broke up with him after he posted her picture online. Zach claims it was an accident. He might have accidentally sent it to one guy online. He doesn't know. Is it possible that Nevaeh got the picture of his girlfriend somehow, and she is the one who sent the pictures out in order to force a breakup between Zack and his girlfriend so she can get closer to Zack.

Prior to Zach going to meet his online girlfriend Nevaeh he seems to have developed an unhealthy fixation on Max 's dead son. Does anyone else find that odd? Is it possible that Max is one of Zach's friends online?

We need to talk about Randel ( S4E9)

When Randel and Jim had kidnapped Donna and Boyd had come to rescue Donna. They were all set to leave. Randel threw the keys to the van/ rv away. The monster comes . But they stop. Boyd and the group manage to get back to safety. Why did the monster stop?

Then when Tabitha, Jim, and Henry were trapped in the ambulance. Boyd went to rescue them, but he didn't have the keys to the van. The monster told him they would allow him to rescue Tabitha if he let them keep Randel . Boyd rescues Tabitha,Jim and Henry and abandons Randel to the monsters. But the monsters didn't kill Randel. They only clawed at his face and threw his body on top of the van for everyone to see. Why did they leave Randel alive?

So far I counted at least 3 times that Randel had encountered the monsters and somehow managed to escape. There was the time Randel was in the Forest and had the attack of the cicadas and the monster were all around him, yet they didn't touch him. The time in the RV with Jim was before the cicada incident. Then the time Tabitha returned. I assume that they didn't kill Randel because of the cicadas. But that's my theory, please tell me your theory.

Have Randel ever mentioned that Boyd had abandoned him to the monsters to anyone? Have Randel ever spoke to Boyd about that night? Have they ever had a conversation since that night Tabitha came back?

Do you think Randel might have made a deal?

We need to talk about Elgin ( S4E9)

We need to talk about Elgin . Elgin's behavior doesn't make any sense, and hasn't made sense since he first came to Fromville. When Elgin first came to Fromville he tried to get the bus to turn back. Elgin stated that he had dreams about this place. He knew about the place way before he got here. Yet when Donna and Kenny tried to get them to go into the diner where it's safe from the monsters what does Elgin do? He ran off. Now Elgin is helping Acosta go through items and things in the basement. Acosta tells him to let her know if he finds anything. Elgin finds an old Polaroid picture of Sophia from the 70's but instead of taking it to Boyd, Kenny, Donna, Acosta , anyone that he knows, instead takes it directly to Sophia a woman he doesn't know, who just arrived in town. Why? It's obvious that the picture is from the 70's and Elgin knows that Sophia is supposed to be only 15 years old. Seeing the picture should have raised red flags that something is wrong and maybe I should talk to Acosta, or Boyd. But he didn't do that . He decided to take it directly to the person in the picture.

So why did he do it, and what made him take the picture directly to Sophia? We all assume that Elgin wanted to help the people of fromville and his mission is to help them leave. But suppose that is not his mission? When Elgin first got there he was running from monsters and begging Victor and Tabitha to let him in. Victor said that he didn't trust Elgin. He didn't say why. But so far Elgin really hasn't proven himself trustworthy.

What do you think Elgin's true mission is? To help the town people, to help the people get home, to help the monster/miy?

Why do you think Elgin took the picture directly to Sophia instead of taking it to Acosta, Boyd, or Donna ?

MIY statement:I really liked Jim.

The man in yellow had said at least twice that he really liked Jim. Which seems to indicate that he befriended Jim, and got to know Jim on a personal level. It also indicated that he was here before. I firmly believe Tom the bartender was The man in yellow, here's why:

No one knows how long Tom has been in town. Tom claims that he once had a wife and a child, but doesn't go into details.

Tom tried to prevent Tabitha from digging that hole.

Tom tried to discourage Jade and Jim from building that tower.

Tom is a firm believer of giving up.

When Tom went over to Tabitha 's house and saw her digging that hole. He told her do you really think you should be doing that? Tom goes back to the bar where he encounters Jim. He tells Jim about the hole and asks if he thinks that is a good idea, and he should stop Tabitha from digging that hole. Jim promised to talk to her about it.

He talked to Jim about the tower that they were building. Jim talked to him about a lot of different things. Him and Jim were friends.

The man reason why I think Tom was the man in yellow is because the man in yellow knew Jim, and Like him. Jim didn't hang around anyone, or get to know anyone. Jim wasn't friends with anyone besides Tom. Therefore Tom must have been the man in yellow. When the man in yellow spoke about Jim he said that he didn't want to kill Jim.

I believe that Tom was the man in yellow. When Tom supposedly died we never actually seen the attack. We see the monster look at Tom. But we don't see the attack. We see Tom's body. But even Boyd noticed that something seems off about it. We all assume that the monsters had eaten him. But it could also be the way the man in yellow shed his skin.

Why did the man in yellow like Jim? Do you believe that Tom could have been the man in yellow?

The miy and the biw ( what are their powers?)

The man in yellow and the boy in white seem to have powers. But what are their powers exactly?

We know the man in yellow seems to have shape - shifting abilities. But what about the boy in white? Does he have the same powers? We know that he appears to Victor and Ethan as a little boy. He also appeared to Tabitha, and to Julie ( when Julie and Victor escaped Colony House) . Is it possible that he appeared in other forms? We know the boy in white can visit the outside world. Tabitha saw him. But what about the man in yellow? Can he visit the outside world?

So what powers do you think the man in yellow and the boy in white have? We know the man in yellow had been in town before disguised as other people in order to cause chaos. But what about the boy in white? Do you think he might have done something like that to help the people?

The replacement theory ( spoiler S4E6)

In season 3 Boyd killed the monster Smiley. While Smiley actually died, Fatima became pregnant and gave birth to Smiley. Which seem to indicate that if you kill a monster they will be reborn/ or replace. I believe there is a certain number of monsters, just like there is a certain number of people. When a character dies, new people are brought to town to replace them. When Frank, Lauren , and Megan died. They were replaced by the Matthew family of 4. The Jade which equals five. Sara killed off Toby, and let the monster in to kill Kenny's dad, and the worker. Franks family of 3 plus Kenny's dad and the worker = 5. Five people to replace five people. Which brings me to season 4, episode 6. Tabitha killed one of the dolls. When they went to retrieve Rodger's body his eye was missing and he has been seen up just like the doll they killed. Which seems to indicate that Roger will now be replacing the doll that they had killed.

So it's possible that Roger will awaken and attack everyone like the dolls had done. So do you believe the replacement theory? Do you think Roger will try to attack everyone, or will he go back to the settlement? I want to hear your theory on Roger, and the replacement theory.

Dreams and nightmares (spoiler s1 thru S4E5)

In season 2 after cicadas attack the town Sara said that Nathan used to have a fear of Cicadas. In Season 4 episode 5 in Tabitha's memory flashback a guy threw Tabitha's dolls into the lake because he said it gave him nightmares . In season 1 Kristi tells Kenny that she couldn't make plans with him because she wishes to see her girlfriend one day. It seems like the town will give you your wish. But also bring your nightmares to life after you die.

Example: wishes

Krist's desire to see her girlfriend - her girlfriend arrive on a bus in season 2

Victor wish to see his father - Tabitha arrives in town with Victor 's father

Nightmares:

Sara stated that her brother Nathan worse fear was cicadas. The town was attacked by cicadas after Nathan died .

Tabitha 's dolls gave the guy nightmares. When he died the creepy dolls came to life.

I have a theory that the town will provide anything that you need to keep you comfortable and to keep you there . It gives you what you ask for with in reason. So you get your wish. However it also brings your worst nightmare to life after you die.

So does anyone remember another time where someone had wish for something and suddenly it appears? Does anyone remember someone mentioning their fears, or nightmares?

I know where the lake of tears is! ( Spoiler for S1- S4E5)

I think I know where the lake of tears is! When we first heard the lake of tears mentioned Ethan had told his father Jim that the lake of tears is here ( re: in Fromville) . Ethan mentioned that the lake of tears is guarded by this giant spider. So where have we seen a giant Spider before? When Boyd and Sara went off into the forest Boyd noticed a lighthouse , and wherever there is a lighthouse there is water. When Boyd and Sara continue walking Boyd sees his wife Abby wrap up in a giant spider web, and when he tries to get her out he sees a giant spider. A giant spider guards the lake of tears. He falls back and is attacked by a bunch of little spiders. He and Sara camp out. But someone, or something was moving their tent. Boyd never made it to the lighthouse , he never found the lake of tears. But at least we know that the lake of tears is deep into the forest and somewhere close to the lighthouse.

Do you know where the lake of tears is? Did Jim and Kenny try to venture out into the forest and got turned around. Does anyone remember what they were looking for ?

The LOT and Julie's bookmarks ( Spoiler S1to S4E4)

Victor knows where the Lake of tears is . When the Matthew family first arrived and Ethan got hurt in the car accident he told his father that the lake of tears was here. He saw it in a drawing. The drawing was one of Victor's drawings. Which means that Victor might know where the lake of tears is at. Victor drew the MIY and he drew the Matthew family . On his wall were a lot of other stuff. I was thinking that Victor's drawing could also be used as Julie's bookmark. We know that Tabitha was able to escape to the real world likely due to the fact that she had Victor's lunchbox . I also believe ( but I'm not sure) that Victor gave Tabitha a drawing. So I believe that Victor's drawing can be used as Julie's bookmark and help Ethan find the lake of tears.

So do you believe that Victor knows where the lake of tears is? What about Julie? Can Julie use Victor's drawing as a bookmark?

Nathan: Was he even real?(spoiler for S1 To S4E4)

Nathan: was he even real? For those who don't know who Nathan was , Nathan was Sara's brother. They had their own place . Sara worked at the diner, while Nathan took care of the animals. In season 1 we never saw much of Nathan, we only saw Sara. The times that we did see Nathan it was him talking to Sara. We never see him interact with anyone else beside Sara. We don't see how Sara and her brother came to town . We only hear about when the story is told from Sara. We heard so little and saw so little from Nathan that I truly believe that Nathan was a ghost, or was Sara's imagination. But since the town people knew Nathan he must have been real. Then it got me thinking about How Sophia came to town with her Pastor father. How the man in yellow controls the narrative. The man in yellow could have been Nathan disguised as Sara's brother Nathan. Does anyone remember the story Sara told about how she came to town? Didn't Sara say she didn't speak / or hasn't seen her brother until he showed up and saved her from a abusive boyfriend? I don't remember if Sara was in the hospital, or some other place where he saved her. I just remembered that Nathan saved Sara . But that reminds me of the man in yellow when he was talking to the pastor while he was in a coma. If Sara was in a coma then the man in yellow can give her orders, and convince Sara that he is her brother saving her from an abusive boyfriend and bring her to From town.

I was wondering why Sophia wanted to be Sara's roommate. If the man in yellow was Nathan then it would make sense that Sophia would choose Sara . He was able to manipulate her once before.

We should take a closer look at Nathan. Does anyone remember seeing Nathan interacting with anyone beside Sara? I'm not talking about working, nor his encounters with father Khatri. I'm talking about actually interacting with people. Eating , drinking, talking with someone who is not Sara.

I would like to hear your theories on Nathan.
