Vacationing in Siesta Key/Sarasota area at the end of the month. Looking for recommendations
Myself, my husband, and our two kids (8 & 12) will be visiting at the end of the month and I’m hoping to get some ideas on things to do and places to eat. We’re mostly looking forward to spending time on the beach, but would like to do a few activities while we’re there. We’re also not looking for fancy restaurants, just chill places with good food.
I was hoping to see some sea life while we’re were out there, but it’s my understanding that this area doesn’t really have many tide pools. Is this true? Would a snorkeling trip be a good idea in that case? My family and I have never snorkeled, so I guess I feel a little intimidated.
We were also thinking of checking out the Myakka canopy bridge, if there is anything we should know about that.
