Anyone tracking Walmart/Target prices against Amazon?

I've been working on a small tool that tracks Walmart and Target prices and compares them with Amazon to spot potential arbitrage opportunities.
I originally built it because checking prices manually was taking too much time.
If anyone here is interested in trying it or wants to see how it works, happy to share it.

How are you keeping track of competitor prices without checking everything manually?

I've been looking into competitor price tracking recently and I'm curious how other people handle it.

Once you're tracking more than a handful of products, manually checking product pages every day gets pretty time-consuming. Spreadsheets help, but you still have to remember to check them and record the changes.

I'm curious what people actually use. Do you rely on spreadsheets, price alerts, an existing tool, or just check prices manually?

And what information do you find most useful to track beyond the actual price? Things like stock availability, promotions, price history, etc.

Interested to hear how other people are handling this.

Has anyone actually used AI for trading or built a trading side project?

I've been getting more interested in using AI for trading, not necessarily to have an AI blindly place trades, but more around building a side project that can help with research and analysis.

I'm curious what people are actually using AI for at the moment.

For example:

  • Building trading strategies or backtesting them
  • Analysing market data
  • Finding patterns or signals
  • News/sentiment analysis
  • Portfolio/risk analysis
  • Screening stocks
  • Automating parts of a trading workflow

Has anyone here built something themselves using ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, etc.? Or are there existing platforms/tools that are actually worth looking at?

I'm especially interested in hearing from people who have experimented with this themselves. What did you build, what worked, and what turned out to be a waste of time?

I'm not looking for an AI that magically "predicts the market", more interested in practical ways AI can be useful for a trader or someone building their own tools.
