Is 200 mg/day of doxycycline too high for a 9 kg dog?

My 9 kg dog was diagnosed with ehrlichiosis and anaplasmosis. She received Oxtra 5% (oxytetracycline) injections for 5 days, and now our vet prescribed doxycycline 100 mg twice daily (200 mg/day) for 24 days, plus 1½ tablet of Nexium (esomeprazole) 20 mg once daily for 7 days.

I see the commonly recommended doxycycline dose is around 10 mg/kg/day. Is 200 mg/day too high for a 9 kg dog, or is this dosage sometimes used for these infections?

THROTTLE warning, drone won't arm

I flew my Pavo20 normally with no issues.

After landing, I disconnected the battery, installed another fully charged battery, and tried to fly again. This time, the drone wouldn't arm.

  • The RadioMaster TX12 said "Armed" when I flipped the ARM switch.
  • The motors didn't spin.
  • The goggles showed a THROTTLE warning.
  • The DJI O3 stayed in low-power state.
  • I didn't change any Betaflight settings between flights.
  • The throttle stick was fully down.

Any ideas what could cause this, and how can I fix it in Betaflight?

Rome & Florence in 5 days - what would you change?

Hi everyone,

I'll be visiting Italy for the first time from June 10-15 and couldn't be more excited. The current plan is 4 days in Rome and 1 day in Florence. I know it's a packed itinerary, but since it's my first visit, I'm trying to see as much as possible while still enjoying the city, food, and atmosphere.

Day 1 (Rome – half day due to flight and check-in): Colosseum, Roman Forum, Palatine Hill, San Pietro in Vincoli, Mouth of Truth, Baths of Caracalla (optional, depending on time).

Day 2 (Florence – day trip): Duomo Complex (Cathedral, Brunelleschi's Dome, and Opera del Duomo Museum), Uffizi Gallery, Galleria dell'Accademia, Piazza della Signoria, Loggia dei Lanzi, Ponte Vecchio, Piazzale Michelangelo, plus Boboli Gardens, Palazzo Vecchio, Palazzo Pitti, Museo Galileo, Basilica of Santa Maria Novella, and Basilica of Santa Croce if time allows.

Day 3 (Rome): St. Peter's Basilica, Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel, Castel Sant'Angelo, Trastevere, Galleria Doria Pamphilj, Capuchin Crypt.

Day 4 (Rome): Piazza Navona, Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Galleria Borghese, Museo e Cripta dei Cappuccini.

Day 5 (Rome): Capitoline Hill, Capitoline Museums, shopping and souvenirs.

One challenge is that I couldn’t get Colosseum or Vatican Museums tickets through the official websites, as they sold out very quickly. Most remaining tickets are from third-party sellers at much higher prices, so I’m planning to arrive early and queue if needed.

Does this itinerary seem realistic, especially Florence as a day trip? What would you skip, rearrange, or prioritize as a first-time visitor? Also, are there any strikes, transport disruptions, closures, holidays, or other issues I should be aware of around June 10-15?

Any tips are greatly appreciated! I’m already in love with Italy and haven’t even arrived yet. This is my first Reddit post here, so please be kind. Many thanks in advance to everyone who shares recommendations - I truly appreciate it and can’t wait to experience your beautiful country!
