Plaud MCP integration with ChatGPT: Access to audio, but no actual audio analysis?

I've been testing the Plaud integration with ChatGPT via MCP, and while it's definitely a promising step, I've run into a pretty significant limitation.

ChatGPT can access my recordings, retrieve the transcripts, summaries, and even get a direct download URL for the original audio. However, it can't actually listen to or analyze that audio. This means we're still limited to text-based analysis, missing things like tone of voice, emotions, laughter, interruptions, and the overall dynamics of a conversation.

I was hoping to use it to analyze group discussions, not just what people said, but how they said it and interacted with each other. It feels like we're so close to something really powerful, yet having access to the actual audio without being able to process it seems like a huge missed opportunity.

Is this a limitation of the current MCP integration, ChatGPT itself, or am I missing something?

First batch of fermented carrots: when to stop, and how to store them?

I’m new to fermentation. I recently bought a vacuum sealer for my smoked meats and decided to try fermenting vegetables with it.

I started this bag on September 12 with 600 g of carrot sticks and 17 g of salt (about 2.8% by weight), with no added water. On Friday, September 25, I opened the bag to release most of the accumulated CO₂, then vacuum sealed it again. As you can see in the photos, it has produced more gas since then.

I’m thinking of opening it today. Would you let it ferment longer, or is the stopping point mostly a matter of taste? Once I open it, how would you store the carrots in the fridge? There isn’t much liquid in the bag: would you add all this plus brine to a jar, only brine without the existing liquid or keep them without brine? other options?

Any advice for this batch or for my next attempt would be appreciated!

Feature request: Export raw cooking data

Hi! I’ve been using my Typhur Sync Gold Duo for a while and I’m very happy with it.

I was wondering if it would be possible to add an option in the aneroid app to export the raw data from a cooking session, ideally as a CSV file (or TXT/JSON/any other accessible format).

Having the raw data would make it possible to analyze cooks in Excel, Python, etc., compare different cooking methods, etc.

The graphs in the app are useful, but being able to access the underlying data would make the Sync much more useful for those of us who like to experiment and analyze our cooks.

Is this something Typhur has considered, or could potentially add in a future app update?

Thanks!

Lost chart data from saved cook history after updating to app version 4.2.10

Hi! I have a Typhur Sync Gold Duo, and first of all, I want to say that I've been really happy with the device and the overall experience so far.

However, since the latest app update (currently running version 4.2.10), I seem to have lost the chart data from many of my previously saved cooks in History.

As you can see in the attached video, some more recent cooks still display the complete temperature chart correctly, but when I open older saved cooks, the chart is basically empty and only shows the target temperature line. The actual/internal temperature curve that was previously saved is no longer there.

The rest of the cook information — target temp, peak temp, cooking time, etc. — is still available, so it looks like the issue is specifically affecting the historical chart data.

This started after the latest update. Before updating, I was able to see the full charts for these older cooks.

Is this a known issue with version 4.2.10? And more importantly, is the historical chart data still stored somewhere and recoverable?

Thanks!
