First Fenestrations!

Got this Thai constellation monstera a bit over a month ago now. When I got it, it was pushing out a new leaf. Once I repotted it, it focused on establishing a root network. Now that the roots are strong it started pushing out this new leaf with its first fenestration! Super proud.

How long can I let this root?

I’ve been propagating this monstera for about 1.5 months now. I think I could realistically pot it anytime now but I guess I’m curious about letting it propagate for a while yet to see how long I can get the roots. Open to suggestions and opinions :)

New stem activation

A few weeks ago I noticed that the monstera I propagated and potted had its axillary bud growing right out the top of the cut stem! I’d never seen anything like it before and wanted to share cause I thought it was cool.

It looks a little funky but i think it seems healthy I think?

New Leaf

When you see a new leaf emerging like this should I try and help it get out easier or just let it be? This is my philodendron brasil

Monstera Axillary Bud Progress

Weird Axillary Bud growing straight up and out of the last stem I had to cut off.

I potted my propagated monstera a couple weeks ago and since then the root system has seemed to stabilize and grow and the yellowing to my leaves has stabilized also. Noticed this little guy growing last Friday. In a week it’s changed as much as my photos show.
Not sure how long I should expect it to be until I get a whole new leaf. Maybe a month or two?
