Sooo I just tested positive for pork in my yearly bloodwork with my allergist and im almost more shocked then my allergist.

I domt live in the us all the time, im only home for 4 months of the year the rest in italy where I tend to be sick most of the time or getting food poisoning from the food. I went to rhe doctor there once but I was told by the italian doctor that allerhies are all caused by having parasites in your body. Absolutely insane comment considering i went cause I was having a full on asthma attack when I left my apartment everyday. Only medication he suggested was i kidd you not dewormer. 😭

Either way never went back and ignored all my symptoms when i would eat meat. Well 3 weeks ago i ended up coming home to the US and made a appointment with my doctor for yearly bloodwork and I explained my issue with meat lately out of nowhere and a scary situation i had at a restaurant while eating pork belly and 10 minutes later i was throwing up well she told me pork allergies where rare like extremely rare and thought I was having a gi issue. Well yesterday I got my results and nothing changed but unlike last year I tested for pork. I have no other food allergy not even lactose intolerant Im told it doesnt seem to be too high but that I need to come in for a food test run for them to see how much I can eat but im terrified of cross contamination in europe since I wont lie its not often a thing many places are good at. I've been to multiple restaurants where we order non shellfish dishes and tell fhe cook but when asked they say its cooked using the same knifes and utensils. Im so lost and confused to what I should do long term besides just refusing to eat out 😭🫠😭😭😭🫠
