What do we need to do to get these brands to make 36” inseams again?

I have been on a frenzied hunt this weekend for a pair of low rise baggy jeans. I am a 36” inseam. My go to these days has been Buckle, but for some reason they’re sold out of a ton of their stock right now. I know ASOS has good length but I’ve been burned too much by their quality over the last couple years. I looked up Gap, American Eagle and Abercrombie and it seems like they only go up to 34”, with MAYBE one or two options going up to 35”. This echos another post recently when the OP said she felt like every brand had started shrinking their inseams. And I agree!! It feels like the options are drying up!! I know there’s brands like American Tall, Long Tall Sally, Amali Talli, etc but I just don’t think their quality/cuts are good enough.

So it’s got me thinking. Can we do like a mass email chain to reach out to these brands and beg for them to bring back their lengths??? I feel like they’re missing out on such a huge chunk of the population (and our money). Is this totally crazy lol??? Do we even think it would make a dent? Should I just put away my phone for the night and meditate instead?? It just feels like our options are drying up and it makes me so angry and I want to do something about it!

My AC’s water valve is impossibly low

AC wouldn’t run bc the water was full. Can’t fit a cookie sheet underneath it. Can’t fit a pan underneath it. Can fit a paper plate but a plate can’t hold any water. Had to lug it to the bathroom and heave it into my bathtub to fully drain it. This thing is over 50lb, what if I wasn’t an able bodied adult and couldn’t lift it into the dang bathtub?? Just poor design all around and I’ve decided to let it ruin my evening.

Tteokbokki soup from Jin Ju :(

I counted a grand total of seven rice cakes in this bowl. No amount of cabbage can make up for the lack of tteok in tteokbokki. It was very soupy and incredibly salty as well; I feel like every tteokbokki I’ve have in the city is so salty it’s almost inedible. Why is that?? Overall very disappointing

How are y’all insulating your crappy old windows during the summer?

I have three old, rickety windows in my apartment that have no insulation whatsoever. It’s not so bad in the winter because my radiator keeps the temp around the fourth circle of hell degrees (to the point that I open up my windows at night), but in the summer, my AC simply cannot keep up. It stays around 75 (which I understand could be worse) and I know it’s because of the dang windows. I’m aware of the clear window cling insulation for winter - does anyone keep it on during summer? My last resort would be to get blackout curtains or that bubble reflective foil, but I’m not trying to reflect the sun into anyone else’s place and I do like having the natural light since I WFH. TIA!

Hi all, wondering if anyone could give me insight into an issue I'm having with a tight turnaround annual report document. I've updated InDesign, restarted it and cleared my preferences, restarted my computer, disconnected and reconnected to wifi, and I'm still running into this issue. I saved a document to the cloud, and then shared as a TextEdit document so that my client can edit the report text. They were able to edit the text, but now I cannot do ANYTHING in InDesign as everytime I open the document, it gives me a perpetual rainbow wheel. I can force quit and open normal documents saved to my computer, I can open other cloud documents that haven't used TextEdit, but I cannot open this one. Has anyone ran into this? Thanks in advance - this has all around been a nightmare project and this software issue is icing on the cake.
