I was hitting my vape in our backyard and staring at our tree back there. It's massive and the branches and leaves take up a lot of the field of view. So I'm hitting the vape and my vision starts to shift. I'm staring at a branch and it's shape resembles a goat's face with closed eyes as if it was meditating. The entire leaf coverage begins to feel like a bright green perfectly formed pattern, in the shape of a dome. The branches aren't moving, but theres a snake-like slithering happening in the bark behind the goat. It was all incredible.

And I'm looking at this face and I think: I think a lot about and people often post on here about, "getting wisdom from the entities." But if the entities aren't just a hallucination and really are conscious, why would they know any secrets of the universe? (I hit the vape again).

They're basically just like us, but maybe on a different dimension of existence.

Then I started thinking, imagine an ant walking across your desk as you're working at a cubicle and this ant tries to ask you: "what is the secret of the universe? what is the answer?"

You'd look at it like, "what are you doing here? How did you even get in here?"

And if by some chance, you understood the ant's questions, would you know what the answers are? You're just some other conscious being, a human, and you're just working a desk job in a cubicle. Your answers to those questions are radically different from the ants answers, because our perspectives are completely different.

Anyway, food for thought. I'd rather just party with the entities if they'd welcome me and learn more about their perspective.

I’ve been running my company for a few years now. Historically we’ve been a direct-to-consumer business, but we recently announced a major move into B2B.

Shortly after the announcement, an SVP at one of the largest companies in our space reached out to me directly to set up time to discuss the new service.

I’m not treating this as a win yet. It’s still very early, and we’re in the early stages of building and refining the offering. That said, we already have a handful of initial customers using the service and providing feedback, along with this potentially significant opportunity in the pipeline.

I can’t share too many specifics, but given that context, how would you approach fully launching the service and delivering for a customer like this when the product isn’t fully baked yet?

I'm just a simple mall ninja dad, father of a 43 month old, and a loving husband. After a long day at dollar tree, I play a few hours of Arc. When I started this game, I was devastated that the good people of Speranza could give into their base desires and murder each other over weapons and gear you can get for free. Topside was dangerous, so I took every step to get to safer lobbies, and it was good for a time. It was a loot-filled orgy every round with carefree radiers holding hands and frolicking over the bodies of dead arc.

But then one day everything changed. Matriarch at Spaceport and I answered the call. The phone rang again, the sound of a raider flare in the tower, I knew someone was ratting. The lobby needed my help. I ran into another player standing over a few dead bodies. He called out, "there's a rat somewhere, but first, check these bodies, one of them has an equalizer."

Against my better judgement, I started looting, he pulled out a torrente and mowed me down. It was a dark day.

From that day forward, I swore I would end this game, disillusioning one raider at a time by hunting them down and stealing their loot. Luckily all the nerfing and the bullshit Embark does is killing this game for me. But I'm still entering my super villain phase.
