Loving the new flock cameras

Just saw my first 3 actual flock cameras today in Naples, Florida after living here for 21 years. Black beam built into ground with the official flock camera and solar panel at roof of beam.

Two on Immokalee Road at the intersection of Immokalee Road & Everglades Boulevard.

One on Vanderbilt Beach Road when you are heading east after you pass 41 between 41 & Vanderbilt Drive.

Keeping others aware.

D3 The Mighty Ducks (1996) never got the love it truly deserved

I adore this movie and is my favorite of the trilogy. If you have ever watched it, what are your thoughts on it? Where do you rank it in the trilogy?

Remote Streaming TCL Roku TV seems to be forcing 1080p h264 files to SD h264 but doesn't do this for h265, what could be the culprit?

It's not an indirect connection going through relay. Server dashbord states remote. The connection seems to start up at 1080p then quickly hits buffering after 1-2 seconds and lowers the quality down to SD h264 with hardware transcode. This user is able to play 30mbps 4K h265 files just fine so I don't think its a connection issue, but struggles to play 3mbps h264 files. What could be going wrong? My upload is also around 150mbps and they were my only streamer. When they switched to an h265 video, it loads perfectly.

To provide more context, the user has two places they use Plex. One address has a max internet download speed of 2mbps. So its totally fair for the server to trancode at that point, but it also happens at their other address that is like I said, at least faster than 30mbps download, where it shouldn't be happening.

Does anyone else think they just recently changed the default FL License Plate so Flock cameras can more easily identify the state without human interaction?

New Food: G's Cheesesteaks @ Rattlesnake & Collier

Saw the signage up on their storefront 2 days ago next to the 7-11. Pictures of the steaks look decent, they only seem to have locations in NY, NJ, & TX right now but are expanding and Naples is their first FL location. Hope it's good! Just wanted to share.

$17.99/cheesesteak

To the mods: Promise I'm not in anyway affiliated to this business, just a fan of cheesesteaks and live here.

Summer 2000 throwback: When you could fill up your tank for less than $20 on the way to Stone Harbor

Taken at what now is an Exxon on August 31, 2000

518 Stone Harbor Boulevard, Cape May Court House, NJ

EDIT: From the comments now, it seems as though this was actually a really bad price for 2000 and was probably the reason my father videotaped it.

I am Bipolar Type 1, in terms of brain chemistry, what exactly was going on in my brain when I went from depressed to extreme mania in 5 days from a 10mg prescription of paroxetine per day when I was 21?

I am fully medication compliant nowadays and haven't had any mania with delusions since 2018. (This event occurred in 2014). I had a small hypomanic scare last year (2025), but immediately told my psych after a friend called me out and we upped my mood stabilizer dosage and that seemed to correct things. (Became less happy, lol.)

But I just wanted to know because often when I tell people in the psych community that it took me 5 days to go from what I would consider majorly depressed (I had been diagnosed with Major Depressive Disorder at 16 (of course I know that was incorrect, but what was appropriate for the information given and available at the time), that was basically my standard mood from ages 7-21) to happy by day 2 to just off my rocker by day 5.

I've heard a SSRI can take weeks to months to show any form of change for a non-bipolar patient. I stopped the paroxetine by day 10ish and continued to stay hypermanic for about 10 months, believing in delusions such as vampires, werewolves, and shapeshifters once I got to about week 2 in. Ended up in 2 psych wards who failed me by releasing me early and then ended up in a jail cell on a psych hold for over 7 months.

Just wondering, what was going on brain chemistry-wise?

I'd love to know the not dumbed down responses rather than the ELI5 responses more.

Finally figured out how to share a local OBS Stream as a Plex Live TV Channel

I’m not gonna go into the details unless you get into the same issues I got into. But on Windows running Plex Media Server with a Plex Pass you will need these programs running and set-up:

OBS (of course)

Media MTX (This when running gives you an OBS streaming local url and turns the stream into a local m3u8 file)

Xteve (This emulates an HD Homerun and combines a m3u8 file with a xmltv file (basically a file that gives guide information) to create a channel on plex once plex adds the emulated hd homerun)

Ffmpeg (basically required to set up xteve, without it, plex will not load the channel correctly and error out).

That’s it. That’s all you need. I currently have my plex library and plex tv enabled with one available channel. I made a “dumby” xmltv file that just says nothing except this is the Plex Stream.

I have a capture card in my pc, so in addition to doing screen capture I can broadcast any hdmi input without hdmi-cec protection entirely locally then via plex’s app to any of my remote users.

The possibilities are endless. lol.

If I have a ticket from 30th street station to Atlantic City, can I pick up the train from any stop along the route and get off at any point along the route? As long as it’s between 30th street and AC?
