Hi! Please advise if anyone here has tried using Apostille for their AOSG. Would like to know your thought on this clause “if the AOSG is notarized by a local notary public in the country of destination, the AOSG must be duly authenticated by the Philippine Embassy/Consulate/Honorary Consulate (for non-Apostille countries)
or apostilled8 by the apostille authority in the country of destination( for Apostille countries).
Does this since my destination is under apostille countries, can my sponsor not go to PH embassy but have this apostilled instead? Please help. Thank you

Hello! Just wanted to ask help if AOSG can be scanned. The thing is im new with Eu traveling with sponsor and did not know that immigration needs aosg upon departure. Now we are still processing the document and i think would not make it on time of departure. Will immigration allow a scan copy ? Please help. Thank you!

Kinda worried for my immigration as a very rattled and anxious person hehe back story lang for my overthinking. Im traveling sa Europe by sep and my accom and expenses are covered by my boyfriend. Im worried na slight red flag sa IO kasi we’re newly a couple this year Feb. he went and visited me sa Ph last march to april. Im worried nga it’s a very short term relationship lang. any exp as mine ? Also if you guys can suggest docs na i need to prep para maka help sa future questions nang IO , would really a lot. I just submitted my schengen visa requirements today and i just realized i did not add a hotel booking confirmation/reservation for one hotel i listed in my day to day itinerary. Basically, i am with sponsor and all the days we are just staying at his residence. Just this one night we put one hotel to stay. Please advise if i can still submit reservation document tomorrow or shall i wait for update from embassy? Is this subject for visa refusal already? Thanks for the help!

Hi everyone, asking for advice/experiences regarding AOSG for traveling from the Philippines.

I’m employed and have my own work here, so I can show proof of employment and strong ties to the Philippines. My boyfriend is also financially capable of supporting my trip, and he already obtained a Garantstelling from the municipality. We also have complete supporting documents for my visit.

I’ve been encouraging him to also get an AOSG because I’ve read stories about travelers being questioned or offloaded when they couldn’t present one, but he doesn’t think it’s necessary.

For those who traveled under similar circumstances, were you asked for an AOSG by Philippine Immigration? Did they specifically look for it, or was the Garantstelling plus other documents enough?

Would really appreciate hearing your actual experiences. Thank you!
