Best way to remove sticky residue/adhesive from painted surface?

I have a window ac unit that requires a net to be stuck to the window for the hose to go through. The sticky back Velcro they provided to attack the net to the window was coming off so I’ve decided to take it all down now the heat waves in the uk are calming down but they’ve left a horrible thick sticky residue behind. The window is a velux so the residue is on a painted wood surface. I googled it and I’ve tried warm soapy water and I’m currently working my way round with cooking oil which is doing it but it’s taking a painfully log time to do. Is there any quicker working methods or residue remover that won’t damage the painted wood? Thanks!

Automatic car advice

So, I currently own an automatic Toyota IQ. I love small automatics (I can drive manual but there’s just something about the ease of an automatic). But my car is currently in a garage with a fault with the CVT system. In case it can’t be fixed, I’m looking at alternatives and quite frankly Google is not doing its job as it won’t stop recommending me electric or SUVs and I don’t want that.
What I’m looking for is a good reliable small automatic (think Aygo Picanto size) that will last me a good long time. Mostly city commuting with very occasional motorway use. I’d like it to be petrol but will consider hybrid if necessary.
Can anyone give me some good recommendations. I do love Toyota as the make generally has great ease with garages as well as servicing and repairs but I am willing to step away from Toyota if there is another make that have a high reliability like them.
Thank you!

Hair dresser toned my hair too dark what can I do?

Hi everyone! So I want to preface this by saying I’m not necessarily upset about the results as I know it will fade over time, but I am disappointed. I have an underdye that is bleached. I asked for as light as possible without being white. The first time I got it done I was very happy with the results, a really nice contrast between the light and dark. This time, you almost can’t see the difference between the light and dark. I already know how I’m going to make sure I have the right colour next time, but I was wondering if there is anything I can do to speed up the fading process to get that contrast back. I’ve added photos to show what I had before and what it is now. Thanks!

Body care help (acne, scarring and redness)

So I have acne prone skin as well as scar prone skin. I have managed to create a good face skin care routine but I need to find some good products for body care! My legs are my problem area. I am very pale, so when my skin goes red it is VERY obvious. It tends to get worse when I stand and the blood slightly pools in my legs making the red marks worse. Does anyone have any good recommendations for body acne and redness control as well as some scarring control? Thank you!
