Top 5% in America vs Top 5% in India is wild (How is having 95%ile not enough?)

Is it not crazy that there is no way a 95%ile will get you into one of the tier 2 engineering colleges in India in a core branch for a general category male?

By mid-tier, I mean a place where the average CSE branch package is around 12 LPA

I was comparing this to the American education system and the numbers were wild.

A top 5% student in the US can get into a BS CS program (=BTech) in college where the avg package is 80-90K$ (INR 20 LPA in India if adjusted to cost of living)

Then, the actual living standards on the college campus are another world with spacious hostels, clean bathrooms, nice food (or atleast no cockroaches in food), large campus, good recreational facilities, etc etc.

Another thing that makes me realize how absurd the JEE is, is that in order to get an average 20LPA in CSE, you need to be in the top 0.5% (99.5%) in JEE mains.

IITians who get into IIT - JEE is a lose-lose situation.

in 2026 the quality of participants increased (first batch to not have 9th-10th during covid, hence better foundation)
in 2027 the quantity is going to increase (est 17-18 lakh)

but the iit seats remain the same and the online educators, instead of telling "competition has increased, gen-2 iits are rly good too", they say "iit-delhi aura, aluminimum rod ahhh 💦💦😈😈😈😈)

shi so bad that some of these 28tards are shitting on gen 2 iits and bits pilani as if those institutes are begging them to join the clg.

so in top 7 iits, u hv a several branches, if u take:
cse, mnc, it, ai: if ur getting these branches is t7 iits, then ur prolly not gonna fully utilize the sports facilities or fests, due to recent competition hike if ur getting cse at top 7 iits ur prolly the type of person to rot away with studies 24/7 with no female interaction (no offence but the competition is gonna be so fucking high)

if u get circuital: u still gotta rot away in ur room, not bc u want to , bc u r forced to. ts shi is so heavy that getting 8+ cgpa is insane

if u get lower branches: the placement rate is like 50% with avg 12 lpa even in top 7 iits 💔

so ur fucked anyways, UNLESS:
ur a very smart dude, who didnt slack of in 10th, u attended a lot of olympiads, different exams in 10th, hence u were able to put 8-10hrs of study everyday since day 1 of 11th - u took no time to adapt to this rigorous routine bc u were alredy putting in work for this in from 9th-10th.

and even if u go the gender ratio is like 8:1 and the dating culture is gonna be shit anw

P.S. These are not completely new chapters, some I have only done half theory, some I have only done basic questions, but on average you can say these chapters are at 30-35% of completion.

And can anyone please recommend questions to solve?
I will be solving JEE Main PYQs from past 5-10 years.
Maybe should I solve ALLEN Modules Level 1 questions before PYQs?
(I'm planning to buy ALLEN Modules too)

I will be using lectures from:
Chemistry: Faisal Sir, Sakshi Vora Ma'am, Rahul Dudi Sir, Om Pandey Sir
Maths: Arvind Kalia Sir (The GOAT), Tarun Sir, Sachin Sir
Physics: RJ Sir, Salim Sir, Adi Bhaiya (from Invisible Mechanics).

Guys please, help me choose a sunscreen 😭😭😭

Teen here, Oily skin.
Adapalene 0.1% + CeraVe Lotion every night
Only sunscreen in morning

I need a good non-scammy sunscreen that actually works (can be chemical/physical/modern)

I was using Derma Co's 1% HA sunscreen bc youtubers recommended it and I loved the texture, but apparently their certifications are bad and they do a lot of shady stuff with marketing, so I bought a trial pack of LRP Anthelios today and it's actually pretty good apart from the shiny look.

I tried Re'equil Ultra Matte but it stung my eyes and too siliconey.

I would like a gel/fluid sunscreen that's actually reliable (unlike Honasa brands)
I can spend upto ₹1500/100ml or ₹750/50ml

From a lot of reddit deep-diving I found a few sunscreens: (listed in the picture)

If you are using a sunscreen similar to my requirements, please share you experience. And recommend me if you know a sunscreen similar to my requirements
