Trying to recreate this photo of my dad in Nice in 1994. Can anyone help me figure out exactly where this is?
Thanks!

Thanks!
Title.
Hi, I graduated with an undergrad in history years ago but am a bit ashamed to say I spent most of my university days drinking and putting the bare minimum effort into my degree. As a result, I find myself quite undereducated in history despite an honest continued interest in the subject.
I'm hoping to start down a new path of educating myself in the rich histories of civilization and am looking for quintessential but digestible works across, well, really any historical subject matter. I'm particularly interested in the Bronze Age leading into the Greco/Roman Mediterranean world, but if there is, for example, some incredible critically acclaimed work about the Mayans or something, then I would love to add it to my reading list.
Thank you for your recommendations.
