Done being overweight

Woke up this morning feeling like crap. Realized we're already halfway through the year at the start of the year. I told myself I won't let summer be this way yet. Here I am. Last night I ate chips too late and I really don't know why I ate them. There is obviously some mindless and stress eating aspect here I need to address but I am just done. Really don't want to bring in 2027 being overweight again. I start today.

I have already checked out CICO sub but please give me all your tips. What was it. Your final "it" I'm done moment and what worked for you.

Hoping to go back to this post and the frustration ifeel as time goes on for motivation if I feel like giving up Tia.

For reference- 34 year old 205 lbs.

Thanks.

Screen free parenting

For those who choose to primarily focus on screen free parenting.. how do you deal with the pushback as your kids get a little older? I have a 6 and a 5 year old. It was much easier when they were kids and to be fair it is now too iguess. We don't do TV at all during the week but on the weekends we have finally started having family movie nights. We do own iPads (but only used twice) for long international flights.

As the kids are getting older And are around kids on iPads and watching TV often they ask why cannot they use these devices? I wonder if it would have been easier if we just didn't own them? Once we tell him no we don't do this. They do let it go but it seems like they ask again and again. Curious if? Some families have a better response they use for their kids to explain why?

When do you grocery shop?

After reviewing my weight loss journey and gaining and losing the 5 lbs, I have realized my problem is the weekends. Idont even hate weekends or go completely off track. I just don't monitor my calories or hit my macros which also leads to me eating junk food or some sugar because I'm not monitoring right

I also dived deep down and realised this is happening as im a mom and work full-time. So Friday evening / Saturday is when we are lowest on groceries and those are my down reset/ plan days

Hoping to fix this issue by planning meals for those days so I can keep the momentum rolling. When do you grocery shop?

Starting again.

It's Monday. I am starting again. On my weight loss journey. Last time I lost close to 10lbs and spiral and gain most of it back. Then got sick. Took a few weeks off . I need to lose about 60 lbs. Cw 199 gw 140

So here we go again. I've made plans for what to do when overwhelmed. As I'm a mom. Curious what else are your tips when craving hits? You know that moment of screw it looking at food and you just want to and start over tomorrow.

Also curious for tips for when you feel depressed. I do deal with some underlying depression and sometimes I just can't get myself move . Ifeel blah. Almost like a nothingness. Although I know movement can make me feel better.

I'm trying to.jot down all things ican do so I turn to when I hit a block.

Weekends ruin my progress

It's long weekend where I live and feeling pretty disheartened as my progress is lost again.

Feels like I deal with the same 3-4 lbs every week. Not sure why I let this happen . every Thursday Friday I say I will do better but then that never happens. Starting to think is the problem me and maybe I don't want this bad enough?

I didn't over eat like crazy. I just didn't stick to my macros either which does affect my progress

. Like what made you take your weight loss seriously? How can I seriously make myself take this seriously to not lose my progress?

Any tips would be appreciated here.

Thank you.

Our 6 year old has been daytime trained since 2.5 but pees at night. He's a heavy sleeper and sleeps through the night. Recently kiddo has decided to not wear pull-ups except will sleep through and not wake up to pe.

Anyone have any tips? Our paed says too old for pull ups and to use pee pads and keep washing.
