Hi everyone, looking for a 1 BHK near DLF Phase 2, Gurgaon (office is next to Cyber Hub).

Requirements:

Budget-friendly Good ventilation & sunlight Safe and family-friendly area Will be living with my parents Need 2 beds Easy daily commute to Cyber Hub (5 days office)

Would appreciate suggestions for good nearby areas as well.

• Salary: ₹94k/month
• Expenses: ~₹30k/month (bike EMI ending in 6 months)
• Planning to upskill + switch job after appraisal

Assets:

• Appreciating land in rural hometown worth 50+ cr may be
• Currently generates no income
• Some plots near market can later be used for shop/godown rentals

Family Situation:

• Parents living in a very basic house in hometown
• Brother studying in another city
• ~₹10k/month expenses + education loan

Current Pressure: Parents want to:

• build a proper house in hometown, or
• buy a flat/house elsewhere

Mainly for stability/social reasons and marriage prospects.

One plot is on the 2nd busiest street in town, so a house there may generate rental income in future.

My Concerns:

• Don’t want huge long-term EMIs
• Father needs dental implants costing ₹3L–₹8L

What would you suggest?

• Increase income first?
• Build house now?
• Avoid selling appreciating land?
• Sell land and deploy into better assets?
• or anything else?
