I mounted my old weaver 3x9 scope on my new to me 336 in 30-30. The ammo I had on hand was 170 gr Freedom Munitions and it seemed to shoot pretty good. I normally shoot core lokt ammo in my other hunting rifles. Does anyone have any experience dropping white tails with freedom munition ammo ?

I’m gonna be putting up 1x6x14’s PT boards and covering the 2 sides and planning to leave 1.5” space between the 1x6’s. Planning to stain them. Also gonna be screwing in some 2x4’s in an I shape behind the 1x6’s to help stabilize them. Should I let the wood dry out first or slap them up as soon as I get them ?

Any new owners here? Looking to replace a large 30” pedestal fan in my shop and have the ability to carry it on the go. I’ve got several 5ah batteries and several 4ah. Wondering about battery life and how it does as far as moving air. Thanks
I am scourering hard with no luck finding one. I really want the 511b with the corded and cordless option. It’s a shame Dewalt took away the corded feature.
