Called a few shops in the area and best I was quoted was $750 for all around Xpel XR+ including windshield.

Does this seem like a good price? So Cal Area.

I recently purchased a 26 Touring - On the ride home I noticed a metallic twang.

Originally I thought it was ruble or pebbles getting caught and hitting the undercarriage - Theres construction going on in that portion of the highway so that was the most logical thing that came to mind.

Yesterday when my wife arrived I noticed the same noise coming from under the vehicle, but now it sounded a little more like a spring that finally sets and vibrates.
Happened maybe 3-4 times in a 20 min period while parked slowly getting more quiet.

Now I’m thinking it can be the exhaust breaking but I haven’t dealt with a new vehicle making this loud of a noise.

Anyone deal with this and did it go away?

I hope this is the correct subreddit to post this in.

I’m looking to purchase a new vehicle for the family come January / February. (That’s when my current auto lease expires)

Back in June 2024 I went through Ch7 BK and since then I’ve been working on rebuilding my credit.

I’m thinking getting applying for finance through a local credit union as this may be the best bet for a decent APR.

Is it recommended to open up an account to build some sort of relationship before applying or does it not make a difference?

Is it possible to get to the rear main seal without dropping the subframe and removing the trans?

Maybe move the trans as far left as possible or is there just not enough room in the engine bay?

My 04 LX is sitting at 130k Miles and I’m prepping to change the timing belt and WP.

I originally was thinking of swapping the Oil Pump for a new Melling Pump but after thinking it over - would it just make more sense to just change the O-Ring and Crank Seal?
