Why is Starlink marketing in an area of London with multiple fibre options?

I was surprised to get a flyer in the post today advertising Starlink in London. Options in the surrounding area include OpenReach FTTP up to 1.6gbit and Nexfibre/Giffgaff 900mbit symmetric for £25. There‘s nothing stopping you having both if you want redundancy/backup.

Following the link on the flyer, the offer is £40/£60/£80 for 100/200/300+ mbit respectively.

Genuinely curious why Starlink are marketing here? Does anyone on this sub have experience using over cheaper wired options?

Giffgaff XGSPON install - do they use VM coax ducts for the fibre?

I’m getting Giffgaff 900/900 service installed soon (it was a bit confusing having to cancel VM first).

Anyway, I’m curious if the Giffgaff fibre will use the existing coax ducts at all?

8 days in Sweden early June - after a 3-4 days in Stockholm where else for calm and wilderness?

We've got flights 5th-13th June to/from Stockholm.

We'd like to enjoy the city and a museum or two for 3 to 4 days, but the rest slightly overwhelmed by the options.

Some ideas:

  1. Hire a car and drive around Lake Siljan - with stops for nice walks. Could also drive up to Lonsdalen to see bears, but hard to tell how likely that is, or whether I can manage to stay up all night in a cabin waiting.

  2. Go down to Vastena to see the castle, do a canal trip.

  3. Tivedens National park (I suppose the could be combined with number 2).

Would appreciate some ideas or guidance on these options.
