Fear of dizziness

Dizziness is the symptom I fear the most. I am obsessed with it and feeling just a slight dizzy sensation freezes my body and panic comes.

Any advice on dealing with this?

Fear of dizziness

Hi,

I have suffered from anxiety since very young. The symptom I fear the most is dizziness. Just some secunds of dizziness can ruin my day and I get obsessed with it.

I have improved a lot with medication, but that fear of dizziness remains.

Any advice on this?

Thank you

Hi,

I have been around 4-5 years on Lexapro, 20mg was the dose that worked fine for me.

During the last year I have been slowly lowering my dose from 20 to 5. After some months on 5mg I started feeling anxiety coming back, so after talking with my doctor I increased again to 10mg. It's been 7 weeks and I am feeling better, but not totally fine. This last week I have been feeling down too.

I see my doctor next week, so I am assuming she will say to increase again.

I wanted to ask you about your experiences in similar processes. It is hard the process to find stability again.
