HomePod wants to be reset, but process fails

After having one of the 2 HomePod Mini’s in my office unplugged for about a day, one of them goes thru a continuous cycle of stating it needs to be reset. When I try the process it just cycles thru it again. Connecting the USB-C cable directly to my MacBook Air let me do a software update & it acknowledged a reset was successful. But after connecting the HomePod Mini to power it just goes thru the attempted reset process again. Changing power adapter, issued by Apple, did nothing as well.
The other HomePod Mini works fine.
HELP!!

LG removed my review of the 2026 C6 on their website

So, LG removed my review of the 2026 C6 on their website, claiming "it did not meet all our website guidelines". I guess that means they did not want the facts of my defective C6 going public. In that spirit, I am posting it here:

"This TV turned out to be a lemon! This TV will not apply updates, and tells me there is an update available every time I turn on the TV, even if I deactivate auto-updates. Also, it would give me error messages that the ethernet cable was disconnected, then reconnected, even if I have no ethernet cable connected. And the frame rate shows stuttering unless I bring up a progress bar of the show I am streaming.

I was able to get LG to send a technician to my home, but both times the tech was provided the incorrect part!! Eventually, LG provided me a full refund, but even that process was problematic. They provided me with trouble case codes to enter into their online form to get the refund, but then their website would not allow the process to occur. It took 2 weeks just to get that sorted out!! And that was after a threat to file a complaint with the Attorney General's office. Will I buy LG again? Probably not. I may try Sony or Samsung next time."

Using "World's Best Exciting New Product" in campaigns (is annoying)

To all those who start a new campaign, one piece of advice: Describing something as the "World's Best Exciting New Product" has zero meaning when I see this used on almost every new campaign. It also sounds like this is a marketing ploy, grossly overused, by an Asian marketing firm.

Just stop already!

2 1/2 month old C6 OLED already has issues, technician arriving in 2 days

I bought the 2026 C6 OLED soon after it was released on Best Buy's website in the US (4/8/26) and this is making me think it is a lemon.

Soon after I got it this TV showed choppiness in the frame rate despite all the jitter, etc. settings I made. But lately it refuses to apply updates. It tells me "The TV failed to apply the update". I have even disabled auto-updates but it will still give me this error message! And the latest fun it started tonight is to display a message that the ethernet cable is disconnected, then immediately another message states it is reconnected.

Various steps like unplugging the power cored, holding the power button for 20-30 seconds, trying USB sticks to do the update, and even restoring the TV to initial settings do nothing to fix this. it does not even see the file from a USB stick. It only opens a media app thinking there may be playable files from there. WiFi and ethernet see the same issue, and my router is close because it is on the same TV stand.

At least LG is sending a tech to hopefully fix this in 2 days.

Does anyone else have these issues?

Can someone point me to the setting I need to change to prevent the 2026 LG C6 55" from powering on by itself? It does this with no input from me. TY!

What settings do you find gets rid of the jittery visual effects on a 2026 C6? I am using an AppleTV and am having difficulty getting moving images to have a smooth motion displayed.
