I miss the European vibe already, and would be nice to hang out with people, I speak arabic, english, french and communicative slovak.

I loooooove going out on side quests lol, try new restaurants, and cook for whoever asks (any type of cuisine, challenge me)😂

Looking for Rent

Hello, I am a 28yo Lebanese woman looking for rent in Riyadh. I have just relocated to Riyadh for work, and need rent (mainly furnished) near Olaya area, even better if close to public transport.

I have a well trained cat with me, and my main point is I want a proper shower with either shower doors or bath, also a decent kitchen as I cook alot.

My budget monthly is around 3000 SAR, I could be more flexible depending on offer like compounds.

Rent start date end of August.

Pet travel Vienna to Riyadh

Hello, did anyone have experience moving to Riyadh with a cat?

I will be traveling from Vienna airport direct to Riyadh, I have a bit of worry, I applied for pet import permit on NAAMA, is there any chance it gets rejected since I don't have my Iqama yet? I am entering KSA using a work visa that will then be swapped to Iqama upon my arrival.

I already have the application filled, all vaccines and vet clearance in place.

Hello, I recently just randomly received a job offer for Riyadh, after the London office offer fell thru, the company offered me the same role for Riyadh office.

I was really against moving to KSA, considering I have been living in EU for over 7 years, during the UK interview, I explicitely said no to Riyadh office. When things took a turn, I asked about the offer for KSA which was beyond expectations, from benefits to salary...

I do speak arabic (native), and few other languages, which I think would help greatly, but my dilemma is that in 2 years, I can apply for EU citizenship (I am even trying to apply for permanent residence), but that can take up to 3 years so 5 in total, and tbh I am kinda sick of it at this point.

I don't want to throw all those years away, also my partner lives in UK (we do long distance but are together quite often, well because it is doable in EU).

I do want to take on the offer, but I can't help myself not to compare and decide on the next step.

Any experience or advice anyone can share?

How is life there now? what is actually a good tempting offer?

I am a woman, age range 25-30.

PS since everyone focused on the passport, I read that by the law, if I get PR, I can live anywhere as long as i enter the country once I year which should be doable, also considering I own properties.
