Need longer exhaust pipe

Just had my Klarstein pro breeze delivered, but the exhaust pipe is too short as I have high window.

The manual says the diameter is 15cm, but I can’t seem to find the right one in wickes or b&q. Most of them are aluminium foil? I’m looking for a hard plastic one like the one it came with
.

TIA

I hate the summer season after being a dad

Used to love summer in my bachelor days. Daytime till 10pm, cruising on the country side watching the sun go down like I’m on Top Gear. Drinks in the garden and basking in the sun.

But now……

Trying to put two toddlers to sleep in 28c and they’re restless as hell. Praying a breeze comes through the windows (AC will be bought imminently)

4am and the sun is out. Two little heads pop up, ‘it’s morning!!!!’, no it’s not go back to sleep 😭. Even with blackout blinds they’ll see a tiny bit of sun and their body clock says otherwise.

Now I’m looking forward to Autumn, couple more months left….

Tips to prevent burning sensation when removing sclerals?

Last few days been having a burning sensation when I take off the scleral lens on my left eye. Right eye doesn’t have this problem. As a result my eye keeps gong red and stays quite irritated for a while.

It appears to be a dry eye issue and causing some trauma to the conjunctiva when I pull the lens out? I had a checkup a few weeks ago and my fitting is still fine.

Anyone else have this issue and any tips to stop it?

Time to wear glasses on top of sclerals or am I looking at a new scleral lens prescription

3 days ago I noticed my overall vision has degraded. I’ve been struggling to read text on tv, phone and road signs etc. My optometrist did say I may need to pick up some reading glasses at some point, due to my age.

So, popped to the shop and tried on a +2 reading glasses. My left eye (dominant eye) is clear as day and can read road signs better than I ever did. My right eye is just blurry even before the glasses.

I’m waiting to get a health check booked ASAP. But, trying to understand has it got to a point where I need glasses on top of sclerals, or will a new lens fix it?
