Vindo aqui compartilhar minha experiência e indicar a plataforma pra quem quer uma renda extra com a Mercor, plataforma de trabalho remoto focada em projetos de IA.

Fiquei alguns meses num projeto de RLHF (Portuguese – RLHF Generalist, $19,95/hora). O projeto reduziu o escopo e fui pausado, mas durante o período que trabalhei o pagamento foi certinho toda quarta-feira via Wise. Recebi $145 no total por 7,29 horas trabalhadas.

O melhor é que ontem recebi uma oferta para um novo projeto pagando $70/hora. Acredito que foi porque mantive meu perfil atualizado com as experiências do projeto anterior. Então mesmo quem for pausado em algum projeto pode ser chamado pra algo melhor depois.

O requisito principal é inglês, já que tudo é em inglês. Os dois projetos que peguei eram para projetos mais generalistas, porque pra minha área (dados) não consegui ainda uma oferta, mas tem muita coisa lá e com pagamentos ainda maiores por hora.

Juro que não é só migué pra divulgar link de referência, até pq, se quiserem, podem entrar direto no site deles. Mas como eu to sempre em busca de renda extra e essa foi muito tranquila de fazer, acho válido divulgar pq sei que tem uma galera aqui que pode pegar projetos muito bons lá dentro e que pagam mt bem.

Just got an offer for a Generalist Expert project on Mercor. The offer letter says 40 hours/week at $70/hr.

Thing is, I was previously on another Mercor project that was advertised as ~30 hrs/week, but in practice I was only getting 2 tasks per week, which added up to maybe 2 hours total. The project is currently paused, but the gap between advertised and actual hours was pretty significant.

Before I get too excited about the Generalist Expert numbers, I wanted to ask:

- Has anyone worked on this project? Is it actually close to 40 hrs/week in practice?

- For those on other Mercor projects in general: what's the gap between the advertised hours and what you're actually getting week to week?

Not complaining about the work itself, just trying to set realistic income expectations. Would appreciate any honest takes.
