Years ago I was gifted Citizen e812 S043298 and I have replaced the silicone strap twice (they always crack near the lug.
It has a weird male link, so I don't know where to find alternatives. Is there a trick to dealing with the lugs?
I have to downsize I have some random Pelikan things, obtained decades ago. I don't know if they are the kinds of things people buy or might be better as consolation gifts for contests...I guess I could upload pictures.
After enjoying Silverblue (now Aurora) on my laptop for a few years, I thought it would be great to set up for my teenager.
Adding another user to the laptop was a bad idea because KDE can't seem to tell them apart (eg. Infinite kdewallet password prompts)
Assuming that lots of people would be using Silverblue for school labs or family compute, I asked for suggestions on the universal-blue discourse....
Apparently multi user is not a thing over there, so I am widening the net.
Has anyone set up Silverblue to use less privileged user accounts?
Is it even practical to use KDE ?
Is there another disto that folks use when they want to configure machines for other people?
Is there a foundation hand that is good for journaling?
I want to journal frequently, for personal introspection so I want to be able to read it later.
However, my natural handwriting is inconsistent AND years ago I picked up calligraphy so I can write nicely, but it requires effort.
At work, I use pencils and sharpies and get compliments on my penmanship ( If they only knew).
I tend to use fountain pens and find that my (unjoined ) italic slows me down because I lift the pen.
I'm tempted to revisit Palmer but it evoked unpleasant school memories.
Can anyone relate?
