My father’s business partner is withholding his money and passport unless he pays 100k

My dad was working with a friend/business partner in KSA. There was no formal written agreement between them, but my dad earned money through the business and the payments were coming into the company account that the friend controls.

Now the situation has turned ugly.

The friend currently has my dad’s passport and refuses to return it. He’s also refusing to give my dad his share of the money unless my dad first pays him 100k. Since the business income goes into the company account controlled by him, my dad currently has no access to the funds.

We have proof that my dad worked in the business and helped generate the income (messages, transaction history, business records, etc.), even though there wasn’t a signed contract.

Is there anyone here who can guide us on what to do
