Teaser got me wishing the Yiheng, Xiaoyu, and Hewen scenes be quite significantly longer because we got nonchalant, vocal, and pragmatic hanging out together! Hijinks bound to happen and am all for the fun!
And I love it! The twins bringing in the positive vibe drama with their partners and it’s just so adorable.

Was wanting to do pottery and painting and such when I visit just to add variety to what I’d do when I get there. For those who’ve done these, do you have any specific places to recommend? I’ve done my fair share of Googling but sometimes Reddit peoples come up with unique takes on things! And any other creative/unique activities you’d like to recommend?
Was planning on using my whole 8 days (is it too long?) in Hanoi and just eat, walk, do stuff leisurely.
Why did FL’s mom not visit her ever during all those years? I mean she’s sick but not bedridden and all so I kinda don’t get why she didn’t visit her daughter. So I kinda understand why FL feels hurt because I feel like from her POV, her mom never defended her at all.
I mean if she’s yearning for her daughter like this, I just don’t understand why she never visited her. There may be a cultural context or something I don’t know hence she never reached out?
Like okay then, if she can’t really visit but maybe write to her? I don’t know. I’m just trying to understand the mother’s possible reason why she never made contact with her daughter.
Okay, will the female lead mature like at least before halfway of the series? Because I get that it’s a slice of comedy but I guess I have a limit to how much of her willfulness I can take.
I’m really enjoying The First Jasmine but waiting for the next episodes is low key frustrating because I be wanting to binge watch til end.
What’s a good COMPLETED drama with a happy ending that’s got mature leads, great romance plot/subplot and non of the annoying cringy baby voice/acting.
