Is KFC pricing counting on its customers being idiots?

I only rarely eat here but was looking into the breakdown of the buckets today.

As far as I can tell, the prices at my store are:

8 piece mixed chicken or dark meat: 24.49

8 piece plus 2 large sides and 4 biscuits: 33.99 8 piece dark meat plus 4 individual sides and 4 biscuits: 20 dollars

I assume the breasts are more expensive, hence not being included in the various deals.

But if you buy the 8 piece bucket of dark meat for 24.49, you’re just objectively wrong, right?

Smelling a lot of smoke in Browne’s Addition right now but can’t seem to find any nearby fires it might be coming from. Is it a city-wide problem blowing in from out of town? Or something else?

Sorry for using reddit to crowdsource an answer, but appreciate the help nonetheless.

Actual Nazi spotted in Atilanos taking advantage of dollar tacos. Guess Nazis can be a fan of Mexican-owned businesses when it suits them. He was open carrying—license plate/car pictured for community awareness.

Sprague/Freya Atilanos location. Sorry for poor picture of the car—I was with some folks who were not cis white men and did not want to instigate. As far as I can tell, license plate in window reads C80914U, but I am not quite able to make it out. Hopefully the terrible flame decal is a more obvious giveaway.

Splurged on these fire hybrids straight from the Spokane warehouse today. Only learned this week that my city is the handmade leather boot capital of America!

To whatever intrepid urban planner decided to close both Greene st and the maple st bridge at the same week, I just want to talk…

As somebody who lives in Browne’s and commutes north on the 2 every day, now I gotta divert through downtown just to get home. Really appreciate that one.

EDIT: oh, and we’re done to one lane of traffic a block before the Monroe st bridge due to construction. Lovely.

Looking for an outdoor gear repair or tailor! Not Nimbus, as they are on break

Hey folks, I’m looking for a tailor or alterations place that could handle a thicker material than standard shirt—I recently tore a professional outdoor vest in a way that can be fixed with a sewing machine that can accommodate a thick fabric.

My first thought would be nimbus threadworks at the evergreen exchange, but the store owner is on a break. Do you folks have any other similar experience with affordable tailors on the area that can work with a thicker material? I wouldn’t know where to start. Thanks!

Hi, the title says most of the story. I’m covered under AppleCare, my phone screen cracked something fierce, and now, my 29 dollar replacement (the main thing I own AppleCare+ for) is estimated to take 1 month. I don’t live somewhere with multiple Apple stores or repair locations, and don’t want to use a non-apple part.

What are the chances I could get an express replacement or some other resolution without having to wait a month? Alternatively, what steps can I take to respectfully escalate the issue to get some positive resolution to this exchange, such as some sort of compensation? I don’t need to be greedy, I just don’t want to have a virtually nonfunctioning device for a month when I pay for warranty.

If anybody has any experience dealing with a similar out of stock issue, I’d appreciate your time.
