Carrots (the tortie) and Okroshka (her name’s a type of soup)

Selecting other snacks as the flair because I can’t select vegetables and meals at the same time

Carrots misses her brain cell day all the time, but is the most affectionate baby ever
Okroshka needs to be petted all the time while she eats, and loves hunting flies

We love them both to bits 💜

Does lack of sweating correlate with heat-induced migraines?

I wanted to make a poll, but they seem to be disabled, so a regular post instead

I don’t sweat easily, and hot weather/high temperatures (I cant do a sauna for example) causes migraines for me (not sure though if it’s just a correlation or a causation)

Can y’all share your experience?
Do you sweat easily and do you have migraines caused by heat?

Also, not quite joking, but I really think that things like “I can’t function in the climate I live in half of a year“ should be accepted as a solid ground for humanitarian visas

mouse quote

I'm reading Watership Down for the first time (hadn't even heard of it till this year), and for some reason this lil quote made me tear up a bit:

"You 'elp a mouse. One time a mouse 'elp a you."

I'm in a very slow process of sewing a shirt with my favourite quotes embroidered on it (I mean, so far I've only cut out the pieces), and this one is definitely going there!

Migraine after a massage

Yesterday morning I had a manual therapy session for my clenched jaw. A couple of hours after that, a migraine started and is still going.
I took a triptan nose spray around 6 am today when I started feeling like I’m going to throw up, and then an hour or so ago (it’s midday now) I took a sumatriptan

Has anyone experienced the same (ie migraine after a head/jaw massage)? Has anything helped? How long did it last?
I very rarely have migraines that last over a day and am a bit at a loss

Hi everyone! I'm hoping for y'all's collective experience and knowledge.

There's a machine I want, Oliva CL50. I've used it before and I love it. I'm currently in Portugal, so it's perfect because there's a lot of those being sold here.

My question is:

CL50s usually go together with their tables. I don't have much space – enough to put the table in a specific corner, but I'd then have to move things around every time I want to use it.

Getting a machine and getting rid of the table only to have to look for a new one once we move to a new place in about a year's time is stupid. Also, the tables are usually nice and wooden and good quality. And why would I buy a thing just to get rid of it?

Removing the table and storing it till we move isn't really an option either because I wouldn't know where to store the table.

What would you do?

Are there maybe other options I haven't thought of?

TY 💜
