See I'm seeking career in tech or consultancy, NIT has quite nice exposure but I get a branch disadvantage whereas JNU is new still it has Delhi advantage for me and branch is also CSE
I'm getting JNU SoE CSE through Jee mains, Should I consider it? What's the conditions of placements n all there? How's the college life?
I've got 97.8%ile in mains with OBC NCL category rank 10k and ofcourse I don't have much options.
For Top NITs I've very lower branches like biotech or metallurgy or mining.
For Top IIITs I don't have any options so far I'm not getting any Top IIITs, I'll get tier 2 IIITs like Pune and other lower IIITs CSE but they are quite far from my home and not so good campus life.
Another interesting option I've got is Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) CSE, and I'm getting it. The BTech is quite new in JNU but still the location is extremely good and Brand Value of JNU is also top notch.
I really don't know what to do pls help!!

Jaipur i think would be better overall due to city and campus life.
At what %ile I can get DTU or NSUT (even lower branches like PIE, chemical etc.)
I'm not from Delhi and category is OBC NCL.
Actually I'm quite confused right now, as I'm mostly interested in Consultancy or Finance based career or a tech career, but at my jee mains %ile which is 97.77 I'm not getting CS or related branch at any NIT, what I'm getting is lower branches like metallurgy, chemical, production, biotech. And I'm ready to side hustle but still there are some doubts like should I take PIE at MNNIT Allahabad or Metallurgy at higher NIT? My inclination towards PIE is due to the alignment of that branch towards consultancy, but what I've seen on reddit about allahabad is alarming, seniors said "PIE mat lo yar chud jaoge", thus making a proper KHICHDI in my mind. So what should I opt for?? Metallurgy at better college than NIT Allahabad or PIE at NIT Allahabad?
See I'm getting Production & Industrial Engineering at both the colleges in JoSAA and I'm okay with the branch as I want to pursue consulting and my career in that field only. What would be a better option?
