Needed: Help dealing with water in basement (rainwater not sewage), $55/hr. plus meal

Ideally this job would be done tonight, but it could be later in the week if that’s not possible.

Ideally someone with some experience cutting and glueing PVC, but happy to train anyone. Only requirements are being able to go down stairs/crouch, get somewhat dirty, work with tools.

All tools, PPE, coveralls, and boots provided.

Mystery unused connector

Does anyone know offhand what type of connector this is? I have one behind each headlight so i imagine they are for auxiliary lighting..?

Exhaust gas leak troubleshooting

I’m leaking exhaust from this fitting which i believe is for the EGR line. Would it be feasible to take the fitting out and reseat with some kind of heat-tolerant thread sealant or is the line probably just toast and i need to get a new line?

Saw a few people that just deleted it altogether but i don’t fully understand the implications there. For context i do not live in a yeehaw state and this thing needs to be able to pass emissions testing.

For sale: 2015 VW Jetta , $900 OBO

Selling my vw, first (and only) car I have paid off. It has run and driven quite well over past few years but i need to transition to something with a bed. The car does need a bit of work (hood dent, inspection, rear suspension rattle), and to have installed a new front bumper and headlight which I have already purchased but not installed.

1.8L turbocharged engine, ~134k miles, oil changed religiously.

Having a new fob made tomorrow morning and will be open for test drives following that.

At this point just trying to get rid of it over junk value if possible. Willing to work with you!

For the record this is completely above board, the title is in my band and sitting on my desk, we can get a notary and have it signed over to you immediately.

ISO moonlight mechanic, willing to settle for someone who can read and turn a screwdriver. $65/hr

Hello world,

I’m looking for someone to do some work on my VW Jetta ‘15 with the aim of making it look presentable enough to sell. I am drowning in work right now and need this task off of my plate.

There is ample space to work on it on the street behind my place, where is it currently parked.

Work includes:
- Installing a replacement front headlight
- “” front fender
- “” front bumper cover

Those ones are definite, if you would be interested in trying to pop a dent out of the hood that would also be great.
