ISO Concord Grapes

I make a concord grape pie every year for Thanksgiving along with one for my hairstylist (long story) but absolutely cannot find them this year. I’m in South Nassau and have tried everywhere locally along with checking online delivery like FreshDirect. Instacart will tell you they are in stock all over the place, but do not be fooled, they are lying. Nobody will ship them because they are fragile. Has anyone seen Concord grapes anywhere?

Update: found them at HMart!

Easy on-off dog harness?

Hi all,
I live with my father who is in his mid-80s with Essential Tremor. He’s on propranolol, but still has severe enough tremors in both of his hands that fiddly things, like buckles and clasps, are difficult for him.

I have a 1 year-old, 50lb dog; over the last 10 months, dad has only walked him a handful of times, but I’ve had to put the harness on for him.

We have a few occasions coming up in October and November where I will be away and he will have to walk Hank for anywhere from 1-5 days. Unfortunately, Hank cannot wear the harness all the time; he will chew through it. He currently wears an Easy Walk.

Does anyone have a recommendation for a harness that’s easier on-off, and ideally has a front D-ring? I’ve seen the Atlas, which is magnetic and is $100; I’ll get that if I have to but if there’s another option someone can recommend, I’d appreciate it.

TIA.

My first project— my grad cap!

I desperately wanted a fully rhinestone grad, cap, and here it is! I used Rhony K’s cap kit, GemTac, and stones from both RhinestonesUnlimited and Beadsland from Amazon. I could not be happier with how it turned out.

Which dress for Graduation?

UPDATE: dress 1 it is! It’s with the tailor now and just needed to be shortened a little. The saggy quality in the top was because I couldn’t zip it all the way up at home; once the tailor got the whole thing zipped (and I’ll have help on the day), the top smoothed out and my boobs looked fab.😂

I’m a returning college student in my mid-40s, so this was a long time coming…Thanks for everyone’s opinion and well-wishes! 🩷

After trying and returning somewhere close to 15 dresses, I’ve settled on my favorite two. I’m struggling to choose one or the other. Please note that whichever one I choose, it will be brought to the tailor later today for alterations. The first dress would be shortened a bit, and the bodice would be altered so that it isn’t weird and droopy. The second one would be worn with a lightweight, pale, pink cardigan, and it would be shortened to mid-calf. And obviously, they’d both be pressed. In these photos, I’m wearing the undergarments and shape wear that I would wear for the day (and there’s a crinoline under the first dress).
Thanks so much!

ISO Pineberries in midtown

This is a super-specific request….I’m hosting 3 friends/family members for a small pre-event glam session and will be providing lunch. I’m specifically looking for pineberries, or even Driscoll’s rosé strawberries, for fruit skewers with a pink theme (I will have pink pineapple and ruby kiwis). I’m staying in midtown and am completely comfortable on the subway, but what I don’t have is a lot of time the morning of the event. Has anyone seen pineberries at Whole Foods Columbus circle, or anywhere else nearby? Would the Lincoln square greenmarket carry them?
