ML26 on Black Sailcloth
Tried on new shoes and liking the black sailcloth on my new ML26.
If MILITADO are reading this, I hope V2 has white painted sub and seconds hands please. 🙏

Hi All, picked up this baby at a market yesterday and it’s running. Can anyone date it? I’m guessing roughly late 70’s?
A truly beautiful watch with a build quality waaay above its cost..
Here is my T023 with my tropicalized 1961 Rolex Speedking. Thorn did a pretty damn good job capturing the vibe, including the correct gloss finish.
Arrived today and it’s very nice. I’ve literally just unpacked it and strapped it on. The nato it comes on is a nice blueish grey rather than the black strap which came with the MK XI.
My only quick gripe - I wish the sweep hand and sub second hands were painted white for greater visibility..
..until I didn’t..
I don’t like making do with bracelets & end pieces that “nearly fit” a watch they weren’t exactly made for. I rediscovered this straight ended jubilee in my spares box today and decided to try it out. I like it a lot and the fat ends fill in the gap so the bit of skin showing doesn’t bug me. What bugs me more are end pieces that don’t really fit properly..
Does anyone know if this model is still available?
I’ll let the pictures do the talking..
The only thing better would be this model as an automatic👍
The combination of Miyota & red date wheel got my attention HARD so pulled the trigger and yesterday she landed..
No lunchbag letdown here - it was wow out of the box. The case & bracelet finishing is top shelf and unlike the Thorn bracelet the bracelet finishing perfectly matches the brushing on the case lugs. The bracelet is also easier to size (compared to my two Thorn T023’s) and I noticed the link screws are good quality and easy to work with.
The other thing you’ll notice is the watch face - it’s bigger and the bezel measures 40.7mm. Proportionally though it all balances out and those with bigger wrists will appreciate this.
No issues unscrewing and re-screwing the crown here- no grinding or stiffness compared to my T023’s and it’s all smooth as.
My only real beef is the hand lume - it does not match the dial lume in intensity which is disappointing and a bit surprising because everything else is great. It’s not a deal killer just a bit annoying. Hopefully WD will take note of this and try to rectify in future editions..
Overall I love it and it’s gonna get a lot of wrist time👍
Looks to have a light green/lime tint or is the picture lighting?
I can’t get the gen model out of my head and looking for opinions on the best rep. VSF V7 comes up in discussions a lot but am I missing something?
Thought I’d try out the T028 brown leather strap I had lying around and it really makes the dial pop..
