Entirely aware this may not be Firefox specifically, but this is the best place I can think of to start from. So it's as the title says really. It has two forms:

1. If I open "Show All History" and try to delete web history one at a time, it'll take about 8 seconds for an entry to disappear, but it used to be instant. It's slowed down over the last couple months.

2. If I try "clear recent history" for even just the last hour, Firefox just freezes completely and I have to end process to get out of it. If I re-open Firefox after doing so, it will at least have deleted the last hour (in this example, haven't tried for longer lengths of time out of fear), but it's certainly far from optimal.

Like I said, I know this may not actually be a Firefox problem specifically, but if at the very least I can get set on the path towards resolving it.

Maybe this is against rule 8, idk, but I want to say it in a community who gets the feeling and won't just go "just watch sub".

There were four shows this year (a few more, but four major ones) I wish got (ENG) dubs that didn't:

-Easygoing Territory Defense by the Optimistic Lord

-Noble Reincarnation: Born Blessed, So I'll Obtain Ultimate Power

-Kunon the Sorcerer Can See

-The strongest job is apparently not a hero or a sage, but an appraiser

I know people would say isekai slop or w/e else, but I like these kinds of shows. They're cute, and particularly that first one I was reading the manga (at my own pace) for a while now so I was excited to see it get an anime... and then it didn't get dubbed. Still salty about that.

Sorry if this is against rule 8, but I guess that'll be handled anyways if it is.

This is why I think it would be great to start a studio that does Crunchyroll's rejects.

Okay, I've thought about the actual point on here since first seeing the image, and at the time I didn't respond to them because it's a strawman and a half, because good and bad rep aren't really important in this case and that's not really what this image is about either. Rather, this image is attempting to frame the right one as transphobic and stereotypical and has a knock-on effect of devaluing and invalidating those who might have had easy transitions. But I still want to react to the points individually (with no particular thesis in mind, just responses).

LEFT

1. "Trans people relate to her" might be true to an extent, but it's selectively referring to the transition being difficult. That's not bad, but the point itself is... generalizing in a way that's misleading. And, I will add, the word "some" is an important omission in that point.
2. "Pushes people away" yeah, but that doesn't really make it okay to do that. Yes, there's reasons people reject companionship, but it's not a good or healthy thing to be doing, and depending on how it's done, it doesn't really matter the "why" of it. Bullying is bullying, harassment and abuse are still harassment and abuse, even if they might come from a place of fear of letting people in.
3. "Internal issues stopping from being herself" while that's true, again, that's not a good thing. While you might have gone through similar, the fact anyone reading that image is here and having the self-awareness to go "I know what that's like" means you don't actually relate as much as that first point makes it seem, because you have made progress towards overcoming those internal issues. You are better than Jax as a result, he took the easy way out.
4. "Isn't perfect because she's human" yes, and yet those imperfections are still quite bad imperfections. Just because being imperfect is human, doesn't mean those imperfections should be ignored, excused, or minimized if they hurt others.
5. "Has internalized transphobia and misogyny" you know who else has internalized misogyny? TERFs. A certain author. Does that make a lick of difference as far as her actions go? No.
6. "Lovely girl is buried" and so long as that's the case, it's irrelevant.

And a couple others I have no response to or would just be retreading the same.

RIGHT

1. "Fully transitioned because that's what cis people want to see" I think it's what anyone would want to see: a transgender person who's content with themselves and happy, because seeing happy people is a good thing. We all want to see happy people, on top of being happy people. Of course we don't always get to see that, because the world is a difficult and complex place, and so we try to understand the troubles people are facing. But it's ultimately irrelevant to transphobia or cis people or anything. "How dare people want to see someone happy with their body and identity" isn't an argument proving transphobia in the slightest. It's almost laughable, actually.
2. "Is always nice to everyone" yeah, that's called "being a good person". That's not a "fOr CiS pEoPlE" thing, that's a "being human" thing. And there's a significant world of gradient between "being nice to everyone" and "having no emotions". There's also a world of difference between "having emotions" and "being an abuser". Also some people are just nice to everyone.
3. "Internal issues not shown" because they might not always exist. If the character in question has fully transitioned, then it's logical to assume they've mostly put their demons to bed. Everyone's journey is different, and most difficult journeys do not involve being an abuser.

TL;DR: The arguments are laughably bad, and I don't mean the points they're attempting to make, I mean the actual arguments themselves. "You're 24 because I jumped in a puddle today" is a bad argument. It might be right, but the logic is completely absent.

Ain't we a bit hurting for a benevolent snake god? How many have we had who're evil, or at least ill-tempered? Hakkar, Ula'tek, Quetz'lun, Tharon'ja (maybe, interactions with the actual Tharon'ja have been limited), Sethe. Snake vilification I tell ya.

I'm being light-hearted, cause it's not like this is a "OMG I'm gonna quit and hate everyone" issue. Just more that we have a trend going on here and it'd be fun to break it. We did have it with Sethraliss I suppose, but her role was very minor.

So how do you destroy that big ball during the Demise fight? The one you can attack? Because I've tried with the hammer, the hardest hitting weapon, and it's not enough to destroy it in time.

I have such a paradox with praise, might be AVPD, might be one of my accompanying issues. I just know that I want to be genuinely praised and complimented, but at the same time I don't really believe it if/when it happens and am very shy about it, almost fear it.

It's such a hard thing to do to work on self-esteem. All the advice is like "focus on what you're good at or your successes", but I'm pretty sure I'm not good at anything meaningful. Certainly have no successes to speak of. I objectively don't have anything to be proud of, it's a fact. So it leaves me without a starting point.

I feel like there's a really obvious solution here.

Just been thinking about this for a couple days. Bandai is noticeably inconsistent and weird with the English names for Digimon, which suggests lack of communication to various translation and localization teams. And yes it's all on Bandai, because in the absence of correction or communication, a translation team will just use romanized names. How do I know this? Because the first couple episodes of the dub of Monster Hunter Stories: Ride On used Japanese names for the monsters and I was told that basically it was because Capcom hadn't given the team the names to use. And this was Monster Hunter, the games existed, and the internet was a thing. If they had the freedom to Google and fix, they could've done so.

But this isn't about that, this is just the inconsistency, but then sometimes consistency in places that suggests a particular focus. For example, Crusadermon has swapped back and forth between that and LordKnightmon, the Adventure: dub called Goblimon "Goburimon", and I noticed Digimon Story continues to refer to Chrysalimon as "Kurisarimon" (and those latter two examples are weird because "Goblimon" and "Chrysalimon" are just grammatically corrected for English, the name didn't even technically change.

But then look at the Frontier digidestined Digimon, a place where Adventure homages were shoehorned in for the sake of marketing (pretending Vritramon is a Greymon for example, despite intentions to the contrary of the actual creatives), and English names have been extremely consistent on that. Not one slip up ever. Or Yggdrasil, same thing. Always King Drasil. No reason to keep that up, they can reference religion outright now, but nope, still King Drasil. Including in Time Stranger where Raidramon is mistakenly called "Lighdramon" (so his Japanese name). But Burning Greymon is still Burning Greymon. It's like Bandai execs go out of their way to make sure the Frontier ones stay as they are.
