A farewell

To our French cheesemonger with his stall on the organic market. Excellent stuff, some hard to find, like my favourite - Tomme. There are many versions, cow, sheep or goat, all of them great. Most look like a forgotten brick found in the farmyard.

We bought a fine selection of what was on offer, last week, and did so again this weekend. Morbier, bleu d'Auvergne, old Cantal, brebis. We will manage, surely, in the future, but for now, we enjoy this.

The outside pool season has started again in my region - man, does that feel good. No humid, chlorine filled hall but fresh air (and my inside pool is a really nice one, no criticism towards them). Today was overcast and 12°C, the pool at a perfect 23° and almost empty so I was perfectly happy. I'd expected more people - it's liberation day but, again, overcast and chilly. Looking forward to the summer season!
