Hi everyone!! So I own a fan favorite RØDE NT1 mic, but as I finish more projects I notice my mic sounds more “sound proofed” or maybe even muffled than the others. Is this my setup, something the producer is doing, or my gain levels?

Hi friends. My 2011 GMC Terrain is reaching her last days. I’ve got it almost to 180,000 miles but the costs of upkeep are becoming too much and it’s gotten to the point where I’m burning a bunch of oil.
I’m planning to trade it in but idk what to get next. I’ve heard good things about Honda? I have an hour commute to work each day and I love roadtrips. I need something reliable.
Also, anyone have experience with carvana? Or should I go to a dealership
I have a GMC Terrain 2011, that I’ve had for two years. I bought it with 130,000 miles on it, it’s now at 180,000. 3 weeks ago I got an oil change, a few days later my check engine light came on. My mechanic changed the sensors, claiming that was the issue. My check engine light came on again the next day. I came back in today, my oil is essentially gone but there’s no leak. They said my engine was burning my oil and it would be the best option to either replace the engine or turn it in.
What would be the best oil to buy and store in my car until I get a new one? And how long can I keep up this annoying game before my engine fails?
I am planning to get a new car. A Honda maybe? Idk but I need to get through the end of July with this car. I have an hour commute to and from work each day, and I roadtrip frequently. What’s the best option at this point?
