Also little update on my Back axle
Got it painted a nice Blue
Fucked up some Parts when i tried changing the Bushings but nothing a little Money can't fix eh

I'm changing all the Bushings of the Back axle right now and I've come across this Spring(second Pic)
Does anyone know if something supposed to be attached to it or was that from a Mod the Previous Owner might have added and removed

Y'all think that subtle Gold or Bronze highlights will Look Good?
I'm thinking Brake lines / Saddles and MAYBE Screws

Had to drop off the Roof Tent I loaned from a Friend and what do my Eyes see <3
Ok so tbh this is about a 744 but trans and stuff are pretty much the same
After resealing it doesn't shift into first 3rd and Reverse anymore
Could the reason be that we put the shifting link that I marked in the picture the wrong way or could there be any other reasons?

So we've taken out my Brother's M46 Transmission and did a reseal
Tested all the gears before putting it back in, worked there
Now that we've put the trans back in it does not shift into reverse, first and 3rd
What could we have put together wrong that it doesn't wanna shift
Reverse doesn't do anything at all
When you shift it into first or 3rd and then let of the clutch it just Grinds the gears

I'm on a Roadtrip in Sweden right now and my Torque Rods on my 240 just said Goodbye, well the Bushings Did
Where would one find new or rather used ones
We have Kleinanzeigen in Germany

I'm on a Roadtrip in Sweden right now
I've done 2200km until now and the Car is starting to make some Sounds
When I accelerate Hard it makes a Clunking Noise
I think it's a Bushing that didn't like me Driving 1000km in one day but I'm not Sure
Also when I drive Backwards for like 10-20 Meters and the go Forward the Handbrake also Clunks
When I then Pull it a little while driving it Clunks once and then it's Good again
But I'm more Worried about the Clunking when acceleration happens
Mostly When changing Gears
im guessing ist the ones that Hold the Back axle
Can't really get a good look Right now
To Low because of all the Weight
Would you keep Driving or should I go to a Shop asap
Maybe there are Swedish Ppl here that can Help too :D

What's the easiest way to remove the Fill plug from the Transmission
It's already stripped from trying

We may remove the trans to reseal it but gotta at least fill it back up to move it awhile
So my Cooler started leaking
I don't think it's fixable right?
