Heart palpitations & lamotrigine?
Apparently it’s an uncommon side effect but I’ve had them for 3 weeks straight. After some simple partials I’ve been on top of my game taking it and it’s annoying as hell.
Dr still doing a holter test since I’ve had episodes since I was 17-18 (I’m 36) but wanted to look into it.

Puppy neuter
How much will his neuter at 6 months calm him down?!
He’s a rescue, got at 9 weeks, u/k breed, (probably lab/dobie/pit mix) ywas the calmest in his litter which was the goal. He’s smart, friendly, healthy, and playful, 95% potty trained with bells, but his energy and attitude has skyrocketed the past couple weeks (5 months).
We have a big backyard, weekly puppy training classes, go for walks, we go to dog parks off-peak, we have meet ups with friends’ dogs, occasional dog daycare, and almost always have an adult at home. He LOVES kids and other dogs and all his training goes out the window; jumping, pulling, rough housing.
Basically, I am exhausted. I will never again get a puppy (our last dogs were always adopted adults), and can’t wait til he calms down a bit.

Cognitive/focal aware seizures
Background: First seizure was 13 years ago at age 26, middle of the night tonic/clonic. Then again a few weeks later. Neurologist put me on keppra which had horrible side effects. Switched to lamictal and started started getting focal aware seizures, added a low dose keppra back in and has been mostly controlled.
125mg lamictal morning/bedtime
250mg keppra at bedtime
Biggest issue is I also have ADHD which means I’m horrible at remembering to take my morning meds. Alarms, multiple locations, wife reminding me; nothing. Most of the time I can go weeks without remembering and not have an issue. Lately though if I miss a few days, the focal aware seizures go wild. Yesterday I had at least 5, probably closer to 10.
So, please give me your hacks to remember to take meds every morning. And is it worth bringing it up to the neurologist to up the meds?

Canadian recommendations
Bestway 18’x12’x52” oval steel above ground -polysphere in pump
We upgraded this year from our 12’ round above ground so need new accessories; brush/handle, vacuum, heater, ladder cover. We’re in SW Ontario, some leaves but often get cloudiness on the bottom.
Vacuum - I like the convenience of battery operated instead of hose/pump, is there a good one under $200 or is the performance worth going hose/pump?
Heater - it’s damn cold. We bought a clear solar cover for on the pool; recommendations for heaters that won’t break the bank? The pump is in the shade so hesitant about the solar mats.
Ladder cover/locker - we have 2 young kids, don’t want to risk damage taking the ladder in/out.
